We stayed for 2nights at the excutive suite (room 2319). The hotel's facade looked very intimidating yet with a sense of calmness to it, probably because of the whole Japanese-minimalist vibe. We loved how the off-white paint contrast that of the silver pillars and magnificent industrial chandeliers hanging on the lobby lounge. It has the feel of a fabulously designed minimalist and very modern hotel that is common among Japanese hotel chains. Our room was not something we were expecting since we booked for an executive suite (the Dusit Thani Manila executive suite is still the best!) but personally, i feel in love wit the uber-modern interiors with very little furniture in an off-white setting! Fabulously done. The bathroom was amazing with the best-looking tub ever (the toilet bowl was incomparable and cute) The breakfast selections is superb! It was the highlight of our weekend sojourn in this wonderful Japanese hotel. Cool is an understatement! Five star all the way!

Enormous rooms, sensational multi-cultural breakfast, enthusiastic staff, all of them English-speaking, live music in the lobby with an intermittent singer, wifi works well, great view from upper stories, remarkable value - I try not to go overboard with these reviews, but this is actually the best hotel experience I've had (beating Claridges in London and the 3 Kings in Zurich). It's not very central - really the only obvious snag. I hope to revisit Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, at least partly just to experience this place again.

Stayed there twice in a short time. Nice hotel, comfortable rooms and good view from 23rd floor room.

Efficient service and fast check-in/out. Executive floor lounge could improve a bit, service friendly but not so efficient. Pool ok but again, service could for sure improve.

All in all. If in Saigon again, I will stay at Nikko again.

My wife and I stayed here during a short trip to Saigon as we wanted to stay at a hotel on the margins of District One to have some respite from some of the more touristy spots, and I was not disappointed either by the location or the hotel itself. We found the Hotel Nikko to be clean, well-organised, and reasonably priced, and the room allocated to us to be bright, spacious, well equipped and quiet. Although we did not dine at the hotel, we did have drinks at the hotel bar located on the ground floor which had a great atmosphere, and the staff there were ever attentive. We did not spend too much time at the hotel as we were off seeing the sites, but it was great to come back after a long day and evening to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We stayed at the executive suite. For the price we paid, I think it's a great deal for the size of the room and the service provided.

The breakfast was the highlight of our experience, the choices are comprehensive. Fresh squeeze juice, japanese food, Vietnamese Noodles, Egg station that makes any form of egg dishes, etc.

The room has a grand view on the city, the bed was comfortable, the bath has a separate shower and tub area. The room is clean and well maintained.

The location is the only I would mark down, but the hotel provide a shuttle service, and taxi to district one area is easy and cheap. For our first time in HCMC, we are happy with our choice and will stay here again.

Your first greeted by well presented friendly staff at the entrance, the check in staff are maybe a touch too serious, The rooms are Ok we had a club room in which the bed was pretty hard, overall presentation was nice though. The hotel is a bit out of Saigon central its self, but A 15-20 minute walk or a 5 min taxi will see you at the Grand Old Post office. Breakfast in the main restaurant area was poor, all hot food was cold, there was no bacon and it was not replenished, coffee was cold and the service staff seemed a bit out of their depth.
The club executive area turned out to be a much better alternative for breakfast, making the club room a much better choice if you;re booking here.
Would I stay in the Hotel Nikko Saigon again?
The answer would have to be a resounding NO, there are better value alternatives closer in to the centre of Ho Chi Minh.
