The hotel is located in a small side street which was quiet, we didnt hear any traffic noise, also it is in the best location close to most attractions.
Our deluxe room with city view was very comfortable and clean, I loved the bed the best one I had slept in Vietnam, the shower was great with different settings.
The staff were so helpful and friendly.
Didnt like the breakfast, lots of Asian dishes if you like that but I only liked the eggs and fruit, disappointed no bacon.
We would stay here again, good value for the money.

The room is air conditioned, has a bath and is very clean. It is well located in a small alley and is close to most attractions in District one. Breakfast is included and while I have little idea of what the dishes are, they certainly taste good and there is plenty of variety. But if you want a Western style breakfast you may not be happy.Across the road is a good restaurant which will deliver a nice dinner. Staff are mainly friendly and obliging. The room is cleaned daily. We are very happy and would stay again and recommend it to you.

Room Tip: Our main criteria is a bath which is available

Stayed here for 4 nights in March. The location is very convenient because it is close to the famous Ben Thanh Market. Lots of places to eat, and shops within walking distances. Most destinations in District 1 are within walking distances.

The hotel is on a quiet street, and we don't have any issue with traffic noise at all. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Wifi signal was strong. 2 PCs also available at the lobby.

There is a Vinasun taxi stand just outside the hotel. Well, don't look for a taxi stand in the usual sense of the word! But there is someone in charge stationed in front. So if you need a taxi, there is always someone there who will radio for a Vinasun taxi. Very convenient indeed.

We took a taxi from the airport rather than use the hotel airport pickup service. It was much cheaper. At the airport, there are many booths where you can buy a coupon for the taxi. Choose Vinasun or Mai Linh. Note that you need to pay the taxi driver some additional charge for the toll at the airport. Ask the person selling the taxi coupon the exact amount, so that there is no misunderstanding with the driver. Print out the name and address of the hotel to show the driver. Don't attempt to pronounce the address, it sounds different somehow and they could not understand!

For money changers, there is one inside the Ben Thanh Market (ask any of the shop keepers), and a gold shop across the road from the Market. Both gave good rates (US$ to Dong).

in the centre of a very noisy city! Stayed 2 nights separated by a night on the Mekong - both times on high floors so nice and quiet - overlooking the Hindu temple - and no street noise at all. Rooms clean and well appointed - loved the showers. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast room small - the smallest food choice we had in over two weeks in Vietnam - no eggs freshly cooked here - just sad looking fried eggs on a hot plate. Very well situated for everywhere you would want to see - withing 5 to 10 minutes walk from most things - including the market for meals at night - and one minute from the noisy local coffee bar already mentionned - where we were brave and tried the pre-digested weasel coffee!

Room Tip: The higher floor are good and quiet - and the back does not even overlook the street

A very nice hotel in a good location within walking distance of many attractions such as the Market, Reunification Palace and War Museum. We stayed in a deluxe  room on the top floor which was spacious and clean but the best thing about this room was definitely the shower which had about 12 different settings! The staff were pleasant but not overly friendly but then we did not call on them often. We used the hotel's airport transfer to pick us up after reading so many horror stories about dodgy taxi drivers in Ho Chi Minh City. However, this was pretty expensive $25 for a 15 min journey. On the way back we took a public taxi which was only $7 so you are probably better finding your own taxi as they are unlikely to overcharge as much as the hotel!
