We chose here as our last stop before returning to the UK after 14 days exploring this amazing country.
It is very well located close to Ben Than market and an easy walk to the city centre, Reunification Palace, Opera House etc. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring our visit was relaxing and we wanted for nothing. We booked a Residence Club Room with use of the Club Lounge which provided tea, coffee, water, beer, fruit and a variety of snacks through out the day inclusive in the booking, not to mention Cocktails and nibbles from 17.30 to 19.30 each evening. Due to the renovations on the higher floors the Lounge had been relocated to the 1st floor from the 10 floor, the service was as good as could be, but disappointing as no windows or views over the city to enjoy. We were made aware of the renovations when we booked, but not the relocation of the Residence lounge, other than that there was little impact on our stay.
I must mention the very disappointing meal we had in the Dynasty Restaurant, the prawns were so tasteless and we had ask for the rice we ordered.
The pool is lovely and a real bonus when in district 1, it is a real pool about 25 m with sun loungers and sun huts, not a tin tub on a roof, a plus.
We have enjoyed our stay in the most and leave for the UK tomorrow evening
