Hotel is fine. Rooms are clean. Service is reasonable but, seemed to be average only at best . I have stayed at Bong Sen Hotel before in same corporate group but, seemed to be much more enjoyable experience with a higher service level and similar but maybe slightly lower price. Was nothing wrong here. Just didn't seem to be anything even a little extra service-wise. You have to ask room service for ice. Okay. Very common in Asia but, I got some ice early in the day and used it drinking a diet coke. Later in the evening, any remaining ice was melted and I requested some more. They became unhappy about that and wanted to charge for the second request. I really didn't care or mind but, they made a big deal about it so it kind of puts you off a bit.

Stayed here for a week. It's in the heart of District 1 and walking distance to several restaurants, malls, and shops.

The staff is extremely helpful and responsive to your needs. I've had to call them for a few things to help me out with the room safe and AC issues, but they were promptly on it and got the issues resolved.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet (although, I'm sure being on the 11th floor helped).

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are nice and private, but seems like WiFi is pretty week. I had a corner room, but had...

This is a very simple 3 star hotel that is value for money. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city, which makes walking around shopping very easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Cheers!

I stayed three nights at the Palace Hotel and loved the location, one can walk to the river, to the market, to the French post-office and cathedral, everything is close. I had a single room , and was placed over the disco-bar, which was very noisy. When I told the front office my room was noisy, they immediately helped me move my things to the 5 th floor, which was silent. Maybe all the single rooms were in that area of the hotel. The service was friendly, efficient and fast. The breakfast buffet is amazing, delicious, and a plethora of choices. The front desk was always helpful with advice and directions. The little bar on the ground floor has great food and is a nice place to sit and have a beer.

I stayed at the Palace Hotel for 4 nights when in Saigon. it's nothing flashy but good value for money. The rooms are a little dated and on the small side, but clean. I found this hotel to be good value and had a great location so it was everything I needed. I would have to comment that I was travelling on my own and would have felt a little cramped in my room with 2 people and the bed was the smallest I'd had compared to all the other hotels (I think it was only a double bed and not even a queen but I could be wrong) but I may have had a particularly small room and I didn't spend very much time in the room anyway.

The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with sensational views of the city and a nice little pool that never seemed to be used by many people while I was there.
Breakfast was good offering a good range of both western and Asian foods and plenty of variety.

It's a comfortable and pleasant stay for a good price and the best thing about it is it's location.

We stayed at the Palace as part of an organized tour. The hotel staff are friendly but to be honest the restaurant staff both at the breakfast restaurant and the on-site 'Lemongrass' restaurant are hopeless. I would not bother eating at Lemongrass if you aren't eating the set menu. Every order was incorrect and drinks were late to arrive.

The is a lovely restaurant around the side of the hotel called Vietnam House. Amazing food and service is spot on.

The hotel has a bar and pool on the roof with views to die for but you'll most likely have to wait for the bar man to turn up as he's not always there.

Rooms are ok and clean enough. If your shower is over a bath it WILL leak all over the floor no matter what you do. Beds are comfortable but there was a complaint in our group whereby they found cockroaches in their bed. Yuck!

Probably wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed here 6 nights. the rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were warm and friendly and helpful. We used the roof top pool daily and always were welcomed by staff and given deck beds. The hotel is in a good central spot with an easy walk to the markets and night spots.
