I would not stay anyway else in HCMC. This place is service, class and comfort at it's best! I travel frequently for business to HCMC and the Park Hyatt is like an oasis of calm in the heart of District 1, easily walkable to restaurants and bars nearby. Lots of taxi at the door step of the hotel. The rooms are large and colonial, huge bathroom (which is a must) and huge bed. The breakfast spread is top notch, offering both Vietnamese cuisine and western. Everyday, the waiters would bring my requested newspapers to the table where I'd dine and greet me by name. The only down side is that the spa is quite expensive, but walk out a few meters out and check out the other massage places nearby.

First class hotel. Best breakfast we had on the trip. Nothing not to like. We didn't see anything else n the city that came close. Good location. Nice pool which is a welcome oasis. Enjoy.

The Park Hyatt Saigon was the first hotel we stayed in on our first holiday around Vietnam. It was a fabulous introduction. Everything was as you'd hope it would be in a five-star hotel. Top-class service, comfortable rooms, great restaurants, good concierge services. They make it seem so effortless which must be the sign of a great hotel. The spa was good (I had a deep-tissue massage) and used the gymn which had a good selection of the latest equipment. We had dinner (as well as a cookery lesson) in Square One, their Asian restaurant, which was fantastic. The main restaurant on the ground floor, Opera, served breakfast as well as Italian fare at lunch and dinner. It was all of a very high standard. Particularly noteworthy was the Italian buffet at lunchtime. We went just before heading off to the airport, wanting something quick and easy. It was amazing!! Go if you get the opportunity (and try the ice cream...delicious).

A relatively new addition to the hotel scene in Ho Chi Minh City, it is till full of character. It has a lovely pool and small garden. The restaurants are excellent and the rooms lovely. And it is right in the heart of the city. Like the Vietnamese in general the staff are delightful. A great place to stay.
