This hotel is quite good, with nice rooms (not too large but adequate) and a view on a small park (so you do not feel surrounded by buildings). The location is great with everything within walking distance.
The view at breakfast on the twelth floor is a definite plus.
The price is quite OK and the service too.

We stayed 2 nights, I thought it was terrible as did my family. We were given rooms on the 4th floor, carpet in corridor was faded and almost thread bare, wall paper peeling from walls, mould in one of the rooms, ants in both rooms, blocked shower in one room. Didn't change bed sheets even though we followed the instructions to have them changed via the card. I know sheets weren't changed because the same stain was still there after room was cleaned. Cleaned, not sure that's the right word! Rusty old shower, old towels, one soap and nothing else. Poor breakfast of very little variety, like 1 breakfast cereal. I wonder if because we booked through Agoda we were given the worst rooms, we did take the lift to other floors that seemed much better. On a brighter note staff were as helpful as they could be. I think we would have been better off at a backpackers! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm sure I will get a nasty response from the hotel now, but if you don't want people to book through Agoda etc then don't put rooms on their site

Room Tip: Book elsewhere

Dear Sim170,

Thanks for the feedback on your recent stay. I am quite disappointed to learn that your stay was not successful.

There are negative and positive points in your review and we are pleased to know that you are happy with our staff service.

I would like to confirm with you that we have the same treatment to all of our guests who booked from Agoda, booking.com, or from travel agents, or they are just walk-in guests! We welcome them all!

Regarding the breakfast, I think that you may not happy with the breakfast take away box at the last day when you check out early as it is just a simple breakfast. I won't agree with you if you say that our buffet breakfast is poor as our restaurant serves many kinds of food from Asian to Western and we have a lot of fabulous comments about our restaurant.

Normally, for the same guest staying in the room, we will change our bed sheet after 03 days ( in case it is really dirty that we need to change it immediately), even 4 or 5 star hotels will do the same way.

For the other things in your review, the hotel management will take it into consideration and try to improve to serve the guests better. Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience.

Again, we appreciate your comments and will for sure work on to improve our service.

Best regards,

Luong Tien Dat

Myself , husband and son (age 13) just spent 3 nights in the "Executive Suite" which was on the 9th floor , room 909 - we opted for this room as there was 3 of us to share it. Everything was great , room was spacious , very , very clean , huge window over looking park , great bathroom with everything you need . Breakfast was good , a bit of everything from Asian to Western . Perfect location , walking distance to most things you will want to see . Thank you Elios , it was great.

Nice hotel ticks all the boxes for location cleanliness and breakfast. When we arrived we were given a room on a lower level which was very dark, we requested to be moved and we were immediately transferred to a room on the 10th floor......much better.

Situated directly on Pham Ngu Lao street, at the heart of the backpackers district in Ho Chi Minh, it is an easy place to get a taxi to get anywhere in the city.
It is about 20 minutes walk to the city center where the Opera house and the Town hall is situated.
They gave a good first impression, giving us drinks as we checked in. the rooms looked clean but there were insects on the bench, possibly due to the uncleaned glasses we used.
We were placed on the 8th floor and the view out the window was quite good, although we could hear the early traffic.
The rooftop restaurant was really good. The room came with a buffet breakfast which had a noodle station and an egg station on top of the other pastries and hot food on the side.
The staff spoke enough english that we were able to remove a padlock with lost keys and they gave directions to different areas in town.
The water pressure was quite good even up on the 8th floor. The bathroom was supplied with toothbrushes and shower caps along with soap, shampoo and body wash.

Room Tip: Rooms without windows may be quieter.
