This hostel seems to be a familiar place to most people - if you want to save some money take the bus from the airport rather than pay exhorbitant taxi fees.
Kind and welcoming they were happy to get me tea when I couldnt sleep and shared their breakfast with me, The staff said she would be happy to make me anything if I didnt like it but to please try her Mi Goreng. The tours offered were very reasonable and the staff organise you to be picked up from the hotel. A safe, welcoming place to stay if you are on your first visit to Ho Chi Minh

he staff were really helpful and didn't seem to mind when I turned up at a rather ungodly hour, waking them up - they let me check in very early in the morning for only half a day room price which was more than fair! It's really central and very clean and I enjoyed my short but sweet stay there.

This hotel is pretty average. At the end of the day it's a place to sleep and nothing more. The breakfast included is alright - omelet, baguette and fruit - it gets very repetitive if you're there for a while.

The staff were really friendly and made you feel very welcome and they always tried to answer all your questions. Their laundry service however was a bit hit and miss. The first time everything smelt great, second time it wasn't cleaned and then came back damp.

If you want somewhere cheap, walkable distance then this is fine.

This hotel is just fine. Nothing to brag about. No lift, so we have to go up the stairs to the 4th floor with our luggages. The room is so small that it only fits a bed, a small dresser and a small tv. Not much space. They turn off the A/C when the guests go out so it is freaking hot when you arrive. Wifi signal throughout the building is poor! They only have 1 free computer for guests. The only thing I liked about it is, the room is clean and the receptionists are pleasant. I bet you can find better hotels in the area than this one.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the longer we were there, the less impressed we were with it. They kept turning our air-con off from downstairs so if we wanted it back on we had to hunt for ages to find them, as there is never anyone at reception. We did a lot of tours which involved early starts and trying to find someone to serve breakfast was never easy. They also overcharged us for our mekong tour. Not impressed at all

We ended up staying here after arriving late at night at our booked hotel across the alley. Due to a communication error we hadn't been informed that our hotel was temporarily closed for renovations. The lady approached us from Red Sun as she noticed us standing outside our booked hotel’s closed doors looking rather confused. She offered us a room was $20 USD/night. Our refrigerator and tv didn’t work and the safe lock on the door at the top was broken off and missing (we could still lock with the key from the inside of the door but isn’t ideal). Beds and bathroom were ok and although we didn’t eat it breakfast was included. Realistically we were only sleeping there from about 11pm until 7:30am the next morning so it was simply a bed to sleep in which sufficed. Definitely wouldn’t book this place but under normal circumstances. Look elsewhere.
