All tombs are worth visiting. Buy the combined ticket for a better deal. Find someone to drive you around Hue or a tour. Bicycle if you are in great shape

With a fascinating history, the Tomb was built by Tu Duc for himself but legend has it he is not buried here. A lot of warring factions needed to keep actual burials secret. But he was the longest reading emperor of the Nquyen dynasty. Lovely location in the forest

most likely the most essential and exquisite of three tombs in Hue. We went by the river and after that obtained the moto. actually amusing and we would the opportunity to get Vietnamese country also. The tomb has a wonderful pavilion (used earning the film "Indochine") in addition to a a temple.

The historical story told here of this young king is worthy of a visit. To envisage a feng shui type of property, to have it built to his specifications, to come there continually for rest & peace while alive, then to finally rest in peace there for his earthly bones, its wonderful. Modern man could learn much from him. I really liked all of the moats, lakes and ponds. If only they had been full of water. Drought in Vietnam? Crazy. I especially liked his island of solace. Look for the old well just behind the little cafe inside the main gate. Well worth a visit, come early, bring an umbrella for the sun or the rain.
