The rooms were the nicest we stayed in Vietnam! Very clean, large bed, computer and fresh fruit. Breakfast was included and you could order from a menu.

The location was good. it was in the centre of the city, but still quiet since it was down an alley.

Many people here have said they were very nice and welcoming, but we found it them to be way over the top. We found ourselves running up the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator so we could avoid them. We didn't find them particularly helpful either. Their suggestion for us to get to Hoi An was an expensive private car and their one restaurant suggestion was an expensive touristy western restaurant.

Hotel is just off the main street Le Loi, past all the expensive riverside hotels, near a corner in the river. There's a small sign on the street that indicates the "alley" where the hotel is located at the end. Cars cannot enter the alley. The minute you arrive, the staff swarm around you offering a glass of fruit juice, cut-up fruits and a cold towel. Someone takes your bag upstairs in the small elevator, while you get a briefing in the lobby about the locale around the hotel, etc. Room has its own computer, water heater and frig, along with abundant, complimentary fruits (this is your chance to explore those strange fruits you see in the market!) and tea/coffee. My room had a double bed plus a single bed, so finding a location for my suitcase ended up being on the unused bed. Young staff is super friendly with excellent English. Also got some coaching in Vietnamese words (with a southern accent). Say hello to Peter, aka Superman, when he cheerfully takes charge of your suitcase/s.

Shopping Tip: Not far from the night market that springs up alongside the river after sunset. Maybe not a good idea to go alone to the night market if you're female. Plenty of clothing shops, bars, restaurants along Le Loi. Excellent restaurants nearby. Remember if you buy clothing that will be made overnight to allow time for adjustments and corrections. Salespeople promise more than they can deliver!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor to avoid street noise and just maybe get a view of something. Request back of hotel if on a street.

We stayed here for a few nights in May,from the moment we walked in out of the intense heat til the time we left the staff were fantastic .
When we checked in it was extremely hot ,the lady at reception told us to sit down in the air con ,gave us a nice cold towel and ice cold orange juice while we checked in,there was no rush ,they took our bags upstairs in the elevator while we relaxed.
When we told her we wanted motorbike she had one for us in about five minutes ,she also gave us a map and some recommendations and directions of where to go .The staff speak good english .
The rooms where brand new and spotless, nice air con, flatscreen TV ,fresh fruit basket and very nice bed,the hotel is down an alley so it is very quiet ,great for sleeping in after a few too many drinks .
Breakfast is basic but very nice ,they made fresh noodle soup for my girlfriend who is vegetarian ,no dramas.
Highly recommend hotels like this in Vietnam ,there are alot of bad ones around .

What an amazing hotel. We were welcomed almost as part of the family, the room was really clean and for 3 of us we had 2 large beds and enough room for 3 cases and 3 sets of golf clubs with room to move around. Caroline arranged an amazing river cruise for us and nothing was too much trouble for them. Very friendly, best service we have had had in Vietnam and we would highly recommend this hotel (and have already to others we have met in our travels). Brilliant!

The Hue Holiday Hotel is simply sensational. We had booked 2 nights and when we arrived, the receptionist working that evening told us there had been a mistake with their booking system and that they were in fact fully booked. She was really apologetic and said that we could stay at the nearby Canary Hotel, and that we would only have to pay our second night. We went to the Canary hotel and it was also quite nice.

The following morning, we went back to the Hue Holiday Hotel, had a lovely breakfast, and were taken to our room. We had been upgraded to one of the best rooms of the hotel, and as it was their mistake regarding our booking, we only paid for a standard double room ($19).  The room was fantastic, with complimentary fruits, tea and coffee, flat screen TV, as well as a computer with Internet connection. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent, it was spotless and even had a bath tub. We couldn't have hoped for a better room.

If the room was fantastic, the staff were even better. They were so professional and so kind to us. They helped to make our stay a memorable and comfortable one.

Breakfast was very good. You can choose anything from the menu, there is fresh fruit, coffee and tea. And from the moment you get to reception, they offer you tea, coffee, juice and fruits, every day anytime. That's really nice.

The day we checked out, we were even able to take a shower before catching our evening train to Hanoi. It's little touches like this that make this hotel a sensational place to stay.

There is WIFI in all the hotel and 2 computers in the reception area for guests.

In a nutshell it is a very nice hotel, located in a little alley away from the noisy traffic, extremely clean and the price is very reasonable. And the staff are just amazing. They really do go the extra mile and provide astonishing customer service. If we go back to Hue, we will definitively stay at the Hue Holiday Hotel.

Room Tip: Book it in advance.
