Stayed here for two nights and it was the only redeeming feature of Nha Trang a.k.a. little Moscow. Apart from some inexplicable confusion re. the price - £50 higher than originally advertised on the hotel's own website - the stay was superb. Clean, friendly helpful staff and superior breakfast buffet. If given the choice-ask for room 103 next to the pool.

We had a fabulous time at the Sunrise hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were massive. We stayed in a sea view room and the view was amazing. The hotel is set back from the road so we didn't hear the traffic at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. One small criticism was that the bathroom was a bit tired and didn't match the standard of the rest of the room. The breakfast was very good although we did find it confusing on our first morning as some things like bread, fruit were outside the dining room whilst the rest of the food was inside! We frequented the Irish Bar every night for happy hour - buy one get one free on drinks, including cocktails. The bar wasn't very busy each time we used it which is a shame as the atmosphere was very good. Perhaps the hotel management should advertise its existence more to get people to use it. Don't be put off by it being called the Irish bar, it sells Guinness and has a leprechaun and shamrock picture hanging on the wall (no Irish music) but on the whole just a great bar. Nhut, the barman was excellent. He made us feel very welcome and even remembered what we drank after just one night, something even our own local doesn't do! Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: The hotel is set back so that even though there is a road in front of the hotel you don't hear t...

We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite, the room was huge, the bathroom was lovely and the lady who delivered our evening chocolates was just lovely! The hotel itself was nice but it was quite a walk to all the restaurants (about 15-20 minutes) the beach was gorgeous with a very helpful assistant who always found us a sun bed & towels & pool quite nice too although we didn't really use it. The price of beer at the beach/pool is extortionate. The breakfast was nice apart from the tea which was very weak!

We've just finished a 7 day stay at this hotel and couldn't have been more satisfied. The staff were excellent right down to help you cross the road to the private beach. Excellent breakfast each morning and choice of bars (Irish bar - unfortunate name but great happy hour) or the 10th floor skybar. Excellent organisation of sun beds on both pool and beach preventing those with Germanic tendencies from hogging the show.
Some more info about local events would have been useful to inform newcomers.
Rooms are really well appointed all do which I think had sea views. Fresh fruit was a really nice touch.
Hotel gym was well equipped and nicely air conditioned.
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Look for a room on one of the higher floors for the best view.

I stayed for seven days in the Club Suite with a seaside view. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay there again. The room was exceptionally clean as there was not a grain of sand anywhere in the beach-side location. We were not advised that the whole hotel is non-smoking, so you cannot get a smoking room.

The location is north on the beach, which is a bit far from many of the restaurants. We ate at the hotel often as a result, and the food was hit or miss. The burgers and the Japanese restaurant were good, the pizza and the Vietnamese/Asian items were not (pho, spring rolls and satay.) Breakfast was a huge selection of Western breakfast items, sushi and Asian breakfast but were all a bit mediocre to bad after sitting out for hours, so less selection with better quality would have been better. The club suites offer some free snacks and drinks, but the staff at the restaurant seems to be a bit confused or reluctant about offering them.

This hotel also has its own chairs on the beach, which is rare in Nha Trang. The pool staff were great, helpful and cheery and the pool was clean. The only criticism I have of the pool area is about the art on the first floor before the entrance to the pool, the majority of the art displayed is an eyesore. There are artists in Vietnam doing quality, original art and what is on display and "for sale" should be much better.

Overall, this hotel is good very clean and recommended, but the food should be improved as the location is lovely and it was the only disappointment here.

Room Tip: Be clear about which Club Suite you will get, some have outdoor whirlpools but no beach view.

My wife and I arrived here for a 9 night "chill out" stay after doing the "touristy" bit.

From day 1 our stay had just about everything we wished for, our room was clean and spacious with two balconies, allowing for an extra hour of sunbathing, the only room in the hotel which could provide this (room 206).

The pool was excellent - not overcrowded - and the attendants could not have been more helpful.

Breakfasts were very good with a reasonable selection of food and never suffered from overcrowding.

It was my birthday during my stay and the hotel very kindly provided me with a personalised cake which further emphasised their excellent guest relationship.

Other than breakfast we ate away from the hotel, mostly at the food court at the Nha Trang centre 300 yards up the road, which provides various types of dishes at extremely cheap prices. We also ate at Yens and Ganesh restaurants which are justifiably ranked at 1 and 2 on Trip Adviser places to eat, although a short, cheap taxi ride is required.

Overall a good place to stay.

Spent a week here late February early March 2014. Very clean, staff helpful, always polite and smiling.
Rooms all have view of Nha Trang bay, not noisy, spacious, facilities were of a very high standard.
Food also very, very good.
We had one minor problem with an item of laundry not returning to us, but that did not spoil a highly enjoyable stay. There are larger hotels in Nha Trang, but it would be hard to imagine the standards being any better than the Sunrise.
