Take boat from harbour which is booked for whole group of 10 person. There is really any destination or islands to visit. Just sail out to enjoy the sea breeze and islands view. Pass under the cable car which will bring you to vinepearl resort.
The cruise will pass by many fish farms, water jet flotation platform, scuba school, islands, beaches and navy ship.
Stop at spot to do swimming. The water clear, salty and cold.
It is a enjoyable trip maybe due the whole boat is occupied the friends.

The tour guides on the day trip did not speak English (Russian and Vietnamese only), which in itself was okay, but the animal show was just plain bizarre. Furthermore, the other tourists consisted mainly of families and solo travelers seemed to be completely overlooked and shuffled here and there as an afterthought. Very old fashioned type of showing in which the animals appeared miserable and made me feel a little uncomfortable.. I realize some cultures place more importance than others on these matters while having strange or seemingly cruel customs of their own, and many of the tourists clearly enjoyed the entertainment. That being said, I believe those from western cultures may find the animal acts somewhat disturbing and a bit forced. The monkey island was kind of neat in that there was a ton of monkeys but they do bite and steal!

Nha Phu Bay or the Monkey Island requires you to go take a 15 minutes boat trip from the harbor (each way)

The Island have a great beach and some restaurants and of course is the Monkeys are located mostly in one part of the island but you can see some of them in all of the Island.

Also, the place offers a dog race that rides by monkeys.

Very nice place to spend some time.
The time to spend on the island is a factor of the inner island trip (by foot), beach, Scuba Diving and the restaurants

We paid 450000 VND per person through a tour company ( Phu Quy ). After about a 20 minute ride to the dock we arrived to Orchid Island. We walked through a beautiful garden that I totally recommend just for the garden itself. The tour guides don't speak very good English but we are Vietnamese Americans so I understood him perfectly fine. It seemed the tour guides speak better Russian than English. I could imagine that non vietnamese or Russian tourists will not enjoy the little information that is provided.

On the island we saw ostriches, deer, elephant and bear cubs. The bear cub mouth was wrapped so it's jaw can't open wide. It is forced to stand on its hind legs the entire time , teeth removed and wear mittens.

You can ride the elephant for 300k for 2 adults and 1 child. This price seems quite high for me as I paid 450k for the tour fee. The ride lasts maybe 5 mins max. The poor elephant has one of its ear pierced with a cord where it's master tugs on to direct it to do tricks. One of its ear has already ripped in half!!!

The lunch provided was just okay. Enough food. You sit with other tourists of your ethnic group. Vietnamese people table and Russian table are separated.

The monkey island is another example of animal cruelty.

We went to Monkey Island, which I described in a previous review, then Orchid Stream Island where our guide cooked us a BBQ lunch while we swam. It wasn't crowded at all. they also have a small zoo with ostriches and red deer and if you're small (under 60 kgs) you can ride an ostrich. They also have a show featuring bears and an elephant. The elephant seems to enjoy the interaction but the bears are a different story. The trainers make the bears walk on their hind legs which is very strange to see. Like the monkeys on Monkey Island, they seem to get roughly handled.
