I had a great experience in this hotel. The staff were very helpful and helped us enjoy Nha Trang. Our room was gorgeous with a view of the beach. The bathroom was incredibly spacious. My only complaint is that the hotel is right next to a military school of some sort, and they had a 6:00 am ceremony on a Saturday when we were there. It woke everyone in the neighborhood up. (Seriously, do government officials in Vietnam simply have a passive aggressive attitude against foreign tourists?)

The beach is passable. It's not very clear but it's okay. It is a public beach but there are private chairs reserved for guests. An attendant will help guests cross the busy street in front of the hotel, and there's always someone there to watch your belongings when you're lounging around or swimming. Still, the noise and the locals passing still make me feel a bit insecure with my belongings. Enjoy the hotel pool.

The restaurants are great. Make sure to explore the restaurants and the hotel bar. The lunch and dinner deals are great and comparable to those outside of the hotel (if not cleaner).

Just back home in Malaysia after a 6 days trip to Vietnam, 3 of which were spent at the ever so plush and comfortable Intercontinental Nha Trang. We stayed in the club junior suite which was enormous with sweeping views over the bay from our 17th floor balcony. I honestly thought we were the first occupants of the room, given how perfectly clean and well maintained it was! The bathroom was well equipped and we had a really useful dressing room too. The main living area was super comfortable with great tea and coffee making facilities. The highlight of our stay was the Club Lounge on the 18th floor, very ritzy with outside sitting areas where we could enjoy our drinks and food. The Staff at the Lounge were outstanding - you will find it hard to access such incredibly caring service in other 5 star hotels in the region. A big thank you to the Chief Concierge - she made our stay such a wonderful experience - fantastic job! It was also great to meet the GM and it became clear his approach to management is a vital element of the hotel's success. We enjoyed our time at both the swimming pool and beach, but I didn't like the beds on the beach which were not in keeping with the overall luxurious feel of this hotel. The gym is fab!

If you would like to be treated like kings and queens, check in at Hotel InterContinental in Nha Trang. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world including many hotels in Dubai. This hotel has topped them all! From the minutes we (family of 4) stepped in to the hotel we were carried around. There is not one thing they can do better. We had two club rooms with an ocean view. We had lounge access and just the view is amazing. The food is over the top. the service every at the hotel - the doorman, cleaning lady, staff in the lounge, breakfast restaurant etc. They all do a wonderful job. If I should mention names of people who went out of our way to help us make our stay perfect, I would have to mentions everybody. In this hotel you get much more than expected. the staff are always meters ahead of you. Example: The second day the staff know exactly what we prefer for drinks. They gave us the best table with a view. We talked to Phong in the lounge (18th floor) and told her that we were headed for a tailor. When we came down to the reception (1st floor) a guy from the reception came towards us to ask if we needed help with the taxi to the tailor. We booked cooking class at the hotel and soon after many of the staff knew that we were the ones. After Nha Trang we headed for Hanoi. Phong spent time writing her recommendations for shopping, eating, sightseeing in Hanoi so we were well prepared for the next stop. This has been AMAZING! We love this hotel and will recommend this to everybody who like luxury and great service. p.s. you have to cross a busy street to go to the beach. No problem there is a nice InterContinental guy there to help you cross the street. They think of everything!
