There are some interesting exhibets but there is no flow through the galleries and you have to backtrack to see things. When you reach the end you have to walk back through the entire gallery to leave. The room of Greek artifacts are not even in the musuem but in the National Art Gallery which share the same building.

A very good, well presented history of profound details for a country of considerable history. Highly recommend.

Everything is here. From the restored funeral wooden chariots to archeological finds . Very rich collection from Erebuni. Do not miss it.

This museum has a huuuuge exhibition and you can spend a long time inside - personally I was there for almost an hour and a half and the main reason was that there was no English translation near all of the objects - otherwise I would have probably stayed much longer. If you have never encountered Armenian culture or history this a good point to start and depending on what you want to know you can really learn. The entrance was 1000 dram and I do not regret paying that.

The history and strength of this country is amazing! This museum is a real treasure. Our English speaking guide needed to slow down a little. She was soft spoken and hard to follow. The artifacts speak for themselves. A must see if you've never been.
