I stayed at the Qafqaz Point Hotel for 2 nights in May. The hotel is very modern and beautiful. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable, great beds, free wi-fi. The bathroom was also extremely large with all the necessary equipment. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The TV channels choice is OK.
The main disadvantage is the location of the hotel. If you don't have local friends with car, you will be totally disappointed. It's far from the Old Baku or boulevard or the city center. So, be prepare in advance.

Dear Guest,

Our paramount objective is making our guests satisfied and happy after experiencing our hotel. We are really proud and happy to impress you with the quality of our services and the uniqueness of our facilities. Thank you very much for your review which we really appreciate.
If you are keen on traveling to downtown Baku, then you may take a taxi (10-15 minutes to the city center) or use the metro which is within a walking distance from the hotel. You may also use the bus service which is also close to the hotel. We will do our best to provide this info to our guests so that they do not have any inconvenience when it comes to going sightseeing around Baku.

Knd regards,

This is definitely not a 5* hotel, maybe passable as 4*.
Large comfortable, clean spacious room, and it had the best most powerful large shower I have ever used, fabulous! Breakfast & food very good, wine expensive but that is the same everywhere in Baku. Staff very pleasant and happy to help. Great omelettes made to order for breakfast.
Gym & pool very small, basic but adequate. Didnt try the spa treatments as they were quite expensive.
Female reception staff spoke good english which was not the case everywhere. I managed ok as I speak a little Turkish which is understood in Baku, however, Turks cannot easily understand Azerbaijaani!!
The hotel was kept at too high a temperature in November, it was much too hot, especially in reception, dining room, restaurant, it was over 25 degrees at all times.
Cleaning staff did a good job of keeping the rooms clean and tidy each day.

Best impressions about this hotel. The facilities are really good and new. The room i got - realy spacious. I was surprised. The stuff was friendly. The hotel serves nice breakfast. It would be good to have a coffee in lobby, but there is no lobby bar. However, the hotel was serving free coffee in lobby every morning furing the exhibition.I do not know if they do it usually. The other nice service was a free shuttle bus from hotel to ExpoCenter that is far from city center.
The location of a hotel is not really central, but the taxies are cheep.
Important! Ask for a "aubergine taxi'! that looks like london cab! The recepcionist will offer you "own cheap taxi", but do not believe. The cheapest is aubergine!

The hotel has small swimming pool with sauna and hommam (free of charge).
Next time in Baku i will stay again in this hotel for sure

I don't know why this is a 5* hotel. When you look at the building outside, you'll think it's a dormitory. The lobby is so small and not high standard. About the room: how can a 5* hotel have a huge fly AND Mosquitos flying around?? How can a 5* hotel have burnt bed covers and bed sheets because of cigarette use in the room? How can a 5* hotel only put two towels & one slipper for a 2 person guest room!? How can a 5* hotel have dirty and stained carpets? There is no iron either. The TV does not turn on and off properly. The complimentary drinking water is ridiculously small. It was a like a small cup! The list goes on about the room. They have a panoramic view restaurant on the 7th floor. When we went up stairs, the restaurant's door was closed. We tried opening it, but it was locked! We went to the reception and they said it was open, so we went back up to see the door open! So much for a panoramic view. One of the worst views I've ever seen. The location is bad, too. There is nothing close by at all. If you are looking for an amazing 5* hotel, you should try the Marriott Hotel.

Dear Guest,

The guest satisfaction is among our top priorities and your review will definitely contribute into achieving our paramount objective. We would like to thank you for your review on Tripadvisor. We would kindly ask you to accept our apology for the negative experience you have had. We are going to look seriously into this matter and see what we can do in order to avoid such kind of inconvenience in the future. It is very important for us to understand the dynamics of what has happened and the people in charge will be interrogated in this regard. We will make sure this never happens again and never be part of the hotel experience of our guests. The hotel manager will personally look into all these issues. We will also find out the reason for which you have been asked to turn to the reception in order to get into the restaurant and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.
We will be looking forward to welcoming you back to our hotel and make you enjoy your stay here on our hotel.

Kind Regards,
QafqaZ Point Boutique Hotel
