Good location in central Baku for business. The bar on the roof has breathtaking views.
Breakfasts good, and the staff were very helpful. Even though it was Ramadan when I visited, the hotel ran just the same for international travellers.

I found the stroll from the hotel just in the adjacent area took in some very interesting old buildings. Look forward to returning.

Stayed a few times over the last two years. Conveniently located, well-serviced, with all amenities in good order, comfortable. Unobtrusive but attentive service. Nice breakfast on the terrace with the city/sea views. Excellent gym/sauna facilities. Easy walks to the sea, restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing in the city center. Good WiFi. First impression was a bit industrial and anonymous, then it grew on me--kept coming back.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea

The hotel is located a short distance (3 blocks) from the Caspian Sea promenade and within walking distance of the shopping street Nazimi Kucasi and the Old City. The hotel is on the top floors of an office building and rooms are therefore quiet and ideal for sleep. The reception, bar and restaurant have a very modern, minimalist design. Although beautiful, such designs make up place feel less personal. The rooms and en-suite bathrooms are huge and the furnishings top quality. The restaurant caters for Western tastes, such as bacon and eggs in the morning, hamburgers for lunch and dinner. The staff don't speak English well, but are extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the right place to have some good coffee or a beer. As guest you also have access to a gym and swimming pool on a lower floor.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst waiting to go offshore. I really liked the hotel although first impressions are that you are going into a block of flats! The reception is up on floor 19 and again is quite underwhelming with just a desk in the corner. Staff were very helpful and the room was massive with everything I needed including Wi-Fi which I couldn't log onto at first so ended up using it wired direct. All in all a nice hotel although I did think it was expensive at 440 euros for two nights and 13 euros for a cup of tea in the lounge, one thing it does have to make up for it is stunning views. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view if possible.

A very well located hotel just 5 minutes' walk from the Boulevard and even less to the great pedestrian street Nazami: the two main attractions of the city where you can stroll, stop for coffee or just enjoy the sunshine.

The Landmark doesn't immediately strike you as a top hotel, particularly as its entrance is rather difficult to find with none of the usual bright neon lights to trumpet its presence, but once inside you find it is professional, very comfortable and well appointed. The rooms have all the usual features of a top hotel, including fridge, tea/coffee and a good sized bathroom. Free wifi is also a particular bonus.

Breakfast is served on the 20th floor, where you have a great view of the city and can stay to enjoy a second cappuccino to take it all in. You will also probably be offered a coupon for a free drink, which can also be taken on the balcony: a worthwhile addition to your stay.

Overall, Baku is an expensive city and this hotel provides very good value and a high standard of comfort.
