“Lagbag Fort: Speaking about its history”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

If one wants to get a glimpse of the Mughal Dynasty, know about the life styles of the kings and queens,Lalbag Fort standing on the outskirts of Old Dhaka would be a nice place for a visit. The most interesting part of my visit was a tunnel, which was once used by the kings as a secret passage, is said to end at the bank of the Buriganga river. Do people actually come out from that tunnel on the bank of the river? If you want to find out then you better visit Lalbagh Fort.

“Lalbagh Fort”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Lalbagh Fort is one of the few (if you compare with the rest of the subcontinent) historical sites in Bangladesh, which is preserved and restored and some attractions like light and sound show, added recently.
Facilities can be improved eg cleanliness of toilets, sale of souvenirs

“Well maintained”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

There is nothing much to see. However the place is very well maintained. There are supposed to be paintings and frescos inside the mausoleums but one cannot see anything.
