“Staff too busy talking loudly to each other, not enjoyable for the customer”
Reviewed 15 October 2012

I have eaten here a few times and the owner is a really nice guy, but i went there on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and to relax. The staff were too busy talking to their friends and it was so loud and annoying, that I ate quickly and had a coffee at the nice cafe a few doors down, they have much better manners there.
Seriously if i wanted to hear them babel in tagalog I would have stayed in Manila, very disappointed and it has put me off the place.
WIFI didn't work and they didn't have the steak sandwich in stock, an overall a bad time.

I have had a good meal there before, but it's hit and miss. Try the cafe a few doors down.

PS. I don't normally get uptight in restaurants :)

“When in need for Western Food”
Reviewed 22 August 2012

When you have been in Asia for a while and feel the need for a GOOD lasagna, ognion rings and some nachos (we found the choice weird too, but needed it), this is the place to go in BSB,

“Solid choice”
Reviewed 30 July 2012 via mobile

You cant go wrong with a good kuay Teow and a pina colada mock tail for about b$6.50.

Nothing brilliant and not fine dining but tasty cuisine nonetheless.

“Good food in the centre of the city”
Reviewed 14 July 2012

In the centre of Bandar Seri Begawan are only a few restaurants with local food. Caffe Vito is a good choise if you don't want to eat in a food coart or market.

“Not a constant quality”
Reviewed 11 May 2012

We went to Vito twice. The first time the coffee was great and we liked the place to hang out and use the wifi. The second time the coffee wasn't very nice and the wifi was down. The latter was probably just an incident however. If the coffee had been good always, I would definitely recommend the place. Now it's 50-50.
