Lovely pool. Nice bar area. Peaceful and clean in a very busy and... not clean, city. Room had outside area, but very small. Shower better then most. Staff helpful and pleasant as most Cambodians are. Had a pizza as bar snack, but didn't have dinner there. Breakfast good choices.

No mistaking, this is a nice place, but there are a few things you need to know.
- Firstly, the "professional photos" you access when clicking from here into Booking.com, seem to all show the new rooms accessed near the back, with private gardens or plunge pools.
The cheaper rooms are in the main block, and are starting to look a bit dated.
The main block is over four floors.
Rooms 1 & 2 - directly off reception. (handy, but could be noisy)
3 - 6 next floor, 7 - 10 third floor, 11 - 14 (room 13 is labeled 31 - supersticious?) on the top floor.
The stairs to the top floor are VERY steep, and room 11 which we had the first nigh was horrid.
To access the bathroom, you go out onto the tiny balcony, then in through another door to the very small bathroom - too small to change and nowhere to hang clothes, so you have to go onto the balcony facing the pool in a towel.
We asked for a room change after one night, which they obliged. But they knew we were older travelers before arriving, and booked waaaay in advance, so why we were given such a dodgy room is just lack of thinking.
At first the staff didn't seem that friendly, lady with glasses was okay, the guys not so at reception or bar.I went down as advised to advise that the construction next door was still loud mid evening, and asked about the room, the guy on reception had to ask my room number twice as he barely looked at me while playing a game he was trying to hide on his cell phone - but he did call back pretty smart to advise they could move us next day.

- The other downside is the construction next door is 14 floors and looks set to continue for a year or two. It shades the pool area a lot, and even with 36 and 37 degree days, the pool was so cool I didn't stay in long. Conversely my wife found it very refreshing and spent a lot of time in it.

Breakfasts are a set menu plus optional extra you choose. We found this perfectly adequate, and the quality was fine. We had a light meal there one day, and that was also okay.

- After a day or so, it seemed like the staff warmed up to us. One barman was very pleasant, and the taller lady on reception who has been overseas had excellent english and was top rate at arranging things, instructing TukTuk guys etc.
She'd make concierge level at large hotels.

Room Tip: I would personally bite the bullet and take the more expensive garden or plunge pool rooms if return...

We booked through Agode a room with private pool. When we arrived, there was no room with private pool available. We had to stay in another room for 1 night. They would pay the difference back on the visa. THEY DID NOT.
Very beautiful hotel. Nice rooms, but infested with mosquitoes. You could not sit by the pool without getting stung different times. Our other hotels in Cambodia also with pools, had no such problems.
One of us got a rash. The doctor said it was from dirty water. The pool was the only water we went in, so it had to be that.

So it looks very nice, but not so clean. Breakfast was mediocre, compared to the other hotels we stayed in.

We were looking forward to this his hotel a lot especially the plunge pool. The new wing is definitely brutalist in design the problem was that it was brutalist in comfort too. Felt like living in a garage. The bed is positioned nearly against a wall which made two people getting in and out of bed a palaver. And also made cleaning that side of the bed tricky. Common parts and main pool great, breakfast avoided for the very nice L'Artiste restaurant nearby. Sorry guys :(

Hello, Indeed our rooms bear a brutal design, I am sorry you did not like the ones with private pools attached. Not sure what to answer, I guess it is matter of taste, we indeed tried to make things differently. For a more classical layout, one can try a sister property like the Pavilion or TeaHouse. Cheers, Alexis

It really is easy to forget you're in the heart of PP while staying in this relaxing, peaceful little hotel. (Ok there was some construction work going on next door, but most of the noisy work had finished by the time we returned to the hotel late afternoon!) The pool area is beautiful, in a garden like setting, with large sunbeds and salas. A wonderful place to relax after a busy day exploring!! Comfortable room, modern and very nicely decorated, (I loved the bare concrete finish in the bathroom) The staff were wonderful, helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Nice food, great cocktails!! The breakfast was simple but well done and tasty.
I highly recommend this place, it has everything you need for a city holiday. Great location, attentive staff, good food, nice pool and value for money! We'll be back for sure!!

Room Tip: No elevator, so some may prefer a lower floor.

We really loved this hotel. Your greeted with a delicious juice and each morning the breakfast is light, fresh and delicious. We stayed in Room 1 which at first we thought was odd because it's literally in the lobby. However, it was a really lovely room. Nice size bathroom, comfortable bed and all the amenities you could need. As well as extremely clean! They have a large movie collection as well. The pool area was a well needed oasis after a day at the killing fields and S21. I really can't say enough good things. Staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a short walk to the promenade and many restaurants. Plus you can't beat the price. We will definitely stay again.

It is worth every single sent to stay in a private pool room! The only complaint I have is that the breakfast is pretty dull. We stayed in PP twice, and cancelled the second hotel we were meant to stay at in order to go back to the Blue Lime. There was construction going on next door, but they were kind enough to leave a note apologizing to guests for the noise, even though it was clearly not their fault. The cocktails are amazing. The beds are comfortable. The pool is savior on really hot days. Loved it. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Pay the extra money to have your own private plunge pool!
