Our arrival was greeted warmly by the front office staff. We were assigned room 220, a corner room that was on the other side of the hotel, away from noisy tuk-tuks as I requested. The room was nice and comfortable with good sized twin beds. The bathroom was dark, and there was water leaking from an exposed pipe. Towels given on the second day were tattered.
The lunch we took on the day we arrived was expensive and the food was not so tasty. I ordered the Cambodian meal while my wife opted for the Chinese meal. Although the food quality was not too good, the waiters were very attentive and moved about with ease and confidence. The complimentary breakfast, although not buffet style, was adequate. We were given a choice of American, Continental, Cambodian or Healthy Breakfast. I ordered the American breakfast on our first day and the Healthy breakfast on the second day. Both were appetizing and adequate to keep us full for the day of touring around the city.
