Description: The Shop 240 is located on tree-lined Street 240 near the Royal Palace, it was our first outlet when we started in 2001 and it remains hugely popular. This colonial-era house has a peaceful patio out front, a wood-floored dining area inside, and a leafy eating area out back. Ceiling fans keep things cool, and a fresh supply of free newspapers in this oasis keeps our customers up to date with world events as they enjoy our Mediterranean-inspired menu. We have other The Shop locations on Street 102 and Street 337 in Toul Kork as well as The Chocolate Shop locations on Street 240 and Street 63.

“Amazing cakes!”

Lovely little cafe with a scrummy menu, definitely try some cake. Ideal for lunch or afternoon tea if you are visiting the Royal Palace as it is very close by.

“A real find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Came across it by accident and then realised everybody knows it. An oasis of French cakes and coffee made on the premises. Creative meals and a nice chill ambience. Get yourself there. It walking distance to the Royal Palace and Sisowath Quay.

“How can you rave about bacon and eggs?...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

...Easily when you've had them here! Unbelievably perfect eggs, tasty bacon and full bodied coffee. Enough said, our best breakfast in Phnom Penh.

“Nice bakery shop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

We have tried four different flavours of cakes and all of them are up to the standard and even out of my expectation. Different layers of good tastes! Good atmosphere for relaxation.

“Try the mint and lychee coolers!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Located at No 39 on the ever so funky Street 240. The Shop sits in good company neighboured by other eateries and boutiques along the street. Their mint and lychee coolers are the answer to beating Cambodia’s summer. While the menu changes weekly it never fails to impress. Order one of their fresh salads or home made quiches and you’ll know what I mean.
