Nice hotel. Nice large lobby with 3 computers for internet. Rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the top floor is decent. Front desk staff and doormen are very friendly. Pool is beautiful.
However, as soon as you walk out, its like a whole other world - dirty market place with people hounding you everystep to take a Tuk Tuk taxi ride, buy this buy that, eat in their restaurant. You can't walk a block in peace. Be prepared because it gets extremely annoying and is a big turn off to want to patronize anything. They are their own worst enemies when it comes to this and don't even know it. People stare at you like a piece of meat with a wallet when you walk around Phnom Penh. Consensus by our tour group was that it was our least favorite city on our SE Asia tour. Only reason to come to this city is to see the Killing Fields and this hotel is a good place IF you had to come. Otherwise, just go to Siem Reap to Angor Wat which is a better city and cultural site.More
