I was tired of tuk tuk drivers yelling at me and stopped here. I stayed even though the price was way over the top $60 per night. They didn't help me carry my bag to my room and the breakfast wasn't that great. It did have a pool however and free internet.

Since I have gotten home I see they have overcharged me by US$10 per night on my credit card. I'm not happy.

The view from my room was of a vacant lot and bus station and I was given the 3rd floor after I asked for a highr floor than the 2nd floor - there are about 7 floors in all.

I saw another hotel for $20 per night without a pool that would have been generally just as good.

This is a lousy hotel. Lousy service and worst of all the room which my parents stayed was infested with bed bugs. They got bitten all over. The next day when they got housekeeping to remove the bed. They were hundreds or even thousands of those creepy crawlies.

No mood to do anything else let alone travel. Avoid at all cost!

I payed $64 for a standard room. All the facilities in this hotel are very average and I think it's overpriced by $20.
The buffet breakfast is substandard but the view from the outdoor restaurant terrace memorable.

We had stayed here for 3 nights in our a week holiday in Cambodia. We choose this hotel by the recommendation of my friends, and it seems very useful. The room was comfortble, clean, full of facilities. Breakfast was tasty. Hotel is located in the centre, and very convenient to walk to visit some where. Hotel staff is very friendly, and helpful.
I will recommend this hotel for my frineds as well.

Hotel Castle is nice and clean, with good sized comfy beds and very clean bathroom. The views to the river and markets were enjoyable. Breakfast was on the roof top and had interesting views. Good location, within walking distance to many good cafes, bars and resturants. The pool was clean! Although I would not recommend the day spa at the hotel, it appeared dirty and unprofessional, although it was undergoing renovations at the time - the Bliss Spa on 240 st has the same prices and is clean, very professional and very relaxing!

This hotel is in a good location within walking distance of lots of good eating places, the Royal Palace and the river front. There are always tuk tuks available at the door. The swimming pool is very nice and refreshing after a long, hot day out and about. The rooms are quite big but probably a little in need of a makeover. Free internet in the foyer. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and overall this hotel is good value for money. On the down side, the breakfast is pretty terrible and when we enquired about the whereabouts of the post office to post some postcards the receptionist said they would attend to the posting but the postcards never arrived .......

Hi travelers,
This hotel is recommended by Lonely Planet (6th editiion) Today it is much over rated! There is a nice pool, but that's all. Reservation by hosts like hostelworld or pagoda isn't working. So you will check the website of HotelCastle: doesnt work. After that you are trying to phone, no answer... As we are traveling with 2 young children, we wanted to have a secure sleeping place after arriving at PP airport at 8 pm, but they said, just to hold the rooms till 4 pm.
Eventually we could stay: for 65$ (20$ extra bed) a night!! That is the same what we paid for a day at a really beautiful resort in Siem Reap (The River Garden). It is not comparable.
Please think about other options:
Blue Lime / The Pavilion / L'imprevene ? Kabili or Billabang: all with nice pools and better value.
