The hotel is located not far from the Palace and the river front if you use tuk-tuk. It is on a quiet street. Allow half an hour from the airport by tuk-tuk. Paid $7.
I booked it for two nights on www.booking.com. Check-in was uneventful but had to pay the full amount at that time. Front desk staff was helpful. Bellboy was courteous.
The room and bath room were well furnished, spacious and clean. The bad was bit hard but had clean sheets. Bathroom had all necessary items. A/C and TV worked well.
House keeping service was very good.
The hotel has a roof top restaurant which seemed bit upscale. I did not dine there but just visited it. They have some kind of very large fish in a couple of tanks for display.
The breakfast buffet was average and could use some improvement. However, you will not go hungry.
For the price, it is not a bad hotel for just visiting the city.More
