Both lunch and dinner here are out of this world. I had an amazing vegetarian lunch (spinach curry soup starter and ravioli main dish) for just $15, plus a glass of red wine for about $2.50. Definitely the best lunch in PP, and set in a grandiose mansion with lots of natural lighting and great service.

Dinner was also supreme - There are about 5 vegetarian options (record-setting for a French restaurant) and the tagine was most definitely the best I've ever tasted, even compared with Moroccan-owned restaurants.

My French fiancé said it was one of the best meals he's had (and he's tasted lots of fois gras in his time!) The menu is huge and we can't wait to go back and exhaust it.

Remember to ask the manager Thibault about the building's history, and check out the rooftop for drinks in the future!

This is the third time I eat at Van's restaurant.
Still one of the best french restaurant in PP. The lunch menu is 15 to 20 USD and is a great alternative to La Residence.
Try the spinach soup and mushrooms raviolis with persly sauce !! Amazing !!
Great service, calm and comfortable setting, great location !!

It is a five star restaurant for sure !!
Great idea for anniversary or romantic diner !!!

I am going frequently to the Van's for my lunch and they have a set lunch menu (15$) that his really good and very competitive. The restaurant is located next to the central post so really central and the restaurant is part of the most beautiful building in Phnom penh.
They change their menu every 2 weeks (It is nice because la residence is not changing their menu so often).
I strongly recommended this restaurant to business people and also so tourist that would like to see a creative and nice french cuisine in one of the most beautiful building.
The manager is french and a really nice person that will you make feel comfortable.

Chefs hat quality food and service in a beautifully restored French colonial villa close to the tourist boats dock and next door to post office. Great option to consider. $120 for 2 including wine and 3 courses.
