Brand new hotel right behind the Royal Palace. Most tuktuk drivers did not even know it (yet). Beautifully decorated in a Japanese Zen like style, not the usual tasteless hotel stuff. First you enter a courtyard with art exhibition and a pond, then the lobby. Young staff is very friendly and still learning the trade. The restaurant is situated at a magnificent swimming pool with an abundance of tropical trees. The breakfast buffet choice is rich, the lunch/dinner menu small but delicious. Rooms are fully equiped with airco, fan and musquito nets, minibar, free water, big screen cable/satellite tvs, hairdryer, you name it. Service at the front desk is fast and to the point. They even arranged bus trip to Phnom Penh for us after an email from Siem Reap. We stayed there two times, before and after we went to Angkor.
Highly recommended! Be fast because I will not be surprised if prices go up in the (near) future.More
