We really enjoyed our stay at The Plantation. A really nice way to end our trip to Cambodia. Our room was at the back of the property, without pool views, but being on the second floor we had better privacy than many of the other rooms. Great variety at breakfast. Pool was lovely. The restaurant starters & mains were outstanding - great quality & very impressive. The desserts were terrible comparatively.
Overall a great place to stay.

After travelling thorough Vietnam & Cambodia for our honey moon The Plantation was our last stop. we stayed here for 2 nights from the 20th to 22nd of November. Airport pick up was smooth. Check in smooth although did have to wait 30 min for our room to be ready. waited at the pool side bar and had a bite to eat. Food and drinks are pretty pricey I thought. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Tiny Balcony overlooking other buildings. Room was smallish but designed well. Rose petals all over the our and little welcome cake provided which was lovely. Best shower I have had whilst travelling, shower pressure was soooooo good. Cute little handmade soaps provided. Aircon was nice. I was a bit dissapointed with breakky as it was outside (undercover) very hot, lots of bugs and mozzies which I know can't really be helped. Yoghurt and fruit was very warm from sitting out. Not a huge selection of foods. It is in a good location close to the river, national museum and royal palace. Highly recommend visiting Daughters of Cambodia which is just around the corner. Also we visited S21 prison and the killing fields. Overall was an o.k place and would probably stay again.

I stayed at the Plantation last April for business and was surprised at the beauty and informal feel of the small botique hotel; it felt like more like a vacation, at a resort. The location is very central, close to the Palace. My room looked out at the swimming pool, where a covered outdoor free breakast was served on the other side of the pool. I also found the Khmer restaurant on the roof inviting. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Room Tip: My room facing the pool had a small patio shielded by flowing plants...

The Plantation has the wow factor, starting with the spacious courtyard (with pond) that greets you at entrance, before you enter the reception area. It is sprawling and minimalist, but elegantly designed throughout. Definitely it gives you a sense of being in an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets just outside. The food I had including breakfast had a reasonable spread, and of a good standard. My main issue is the rooms could be better appointed: airconditioning seemed underpowered, the shower fittings a little basic, and the room safe difficult to use. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to return

I stayed at this hotel when I could not get into my first choice. .. From now on, the Plantation wil be my first choice when in Phnom Penh!!!!! In short, I loved every aspect of this hotel. The room was modern, clean & well presented, the staff friendly, the food good and the pool and Spa A1. Little touches such as the complimentary fruit left in the room and the lovely soaps were appreciated.

From the outside it looks not inviting and small. But once inside, it has a great comfortable and resort ambience. Staff are courteous and polite. Anyways, most Asian hotels have polite staff other than those 2-3 stars hotels.....
Many greenery... enticing pool with gazebos around it. Room is comfotable and nice. Bed is good to sleep in. Place is serene and quiet. The bathroom is simple with no deco but big enough for show. One thing is that they do not provide disposable toothbrush......
Big balcony to relax outside if u get tired of the air-conditioning inside.
Room service is quick.
Room has an extra lower 'bed' or 'seater' good to lay back to relax. Good size too. half of king size.

Room Tip: You may want a upper floors facing the pool.
