This guesthouse propose clean bedrooms for good prices and is very well located (pretty close from the Night Market, Royal Palace, National Museum...).
But above all, you r.e.a.l.l.y feel like being a guest ! Mr Seng provides many good tips in Phnom Penh and more.
After having spent 4 days there, my friends and I travelled around Cambodia. Finally, we didn't hesitate at all to come back few days at this guesthouse before leaving this wonderfull Country!
Great address to know for anybody who wants to stay in Phnom Penh!!

Room Tip: Better with window.

We only stayed here for one night but thought it was good. This guesthouse is fairly basic and you get what you pay for but our room did have a TV and air-conditioning. The location is great, right in the centre of Phnom Penh about a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace. Despite being basic the rooms were clean and a good size. The walls were a bit thin and you could hear other people if they returned late at night and were being loud. The staff were great though and they really made our stay. They recommended local restaurants and were incredibly friendly! If in the area again I would stay here.

The Europe guesthouse in Phnom Penh is a good choice for backpacker searching for a centric location in Phnom Penh and cheap but confortable rooms.
The rooms are big, clean and confortable, although we had a room on the 5th floor and the heat was quite unbearable without A/C, which was charged more 5$. The bathroom was very clean too.

The owner is very nice and friendly, gives good tips and advice to visit the city. The staff is very helpful and friendly, so it was an overall good experience for us there.

And to top it all, there is a terrific view from the roof you should definitly not miss.

Very nice budget place to stay in Phnom Penh. Located close to the river side and 10 minutes from the Royal Palace.
Members are very gentle and helpful. Rooms are clean with AC. All services arranges: bus ticket booking, airports pickups.

Probably not the best place for alone-travelers: the guest house does not have a bar or a common room where meeting people. So, if you are travelling alone and you planned to meet someone with whom sharing the visiting experience, probably you should find something else. Otherwise, this is perfect!

Nr 7 of 213 guesthouses in Phnom Penh!!!! ????
We stayed 5 nights in this guesthouse. Our first impression was oke. The cell like bedrooms are of reasonable size. It looked for the first clean. After inspection of the pillows we saw they were very, very dirty. At reception the boy laughed about it, but we got a little better. Happely we had
our own pillow covers.
The big advance for Europe guesthouse is thats in the citycentre, near riverside. That is the reason we stayed at the guesthouse.
The third day the owner started his works at a new private bathroom for his family. After eight in the morning there was a lot of noise. It went the hole day on. Water for shower was shut down.
The owner did not inform the guests.
The fourth day we came in the afternoon in our room (102) and there was a terrible smell of glue. The owner was fitting pipes. The boy at reception laughed again, and after pressure we got a new room (105). He said we didn't have to pay the $3 extra for the window in the room !!!?? The view was amazing ( a wall of an other building). The bathroom in this room smelled after the draining canal, so we used all night the ventilator.
Last morning there was no water again. The owner was speechless, but after breakfast he said that we were right and that there was a problem.
We spoke to the owner about communication with his guests and we hope next guests will be better informed about building in Europe guesthouse. Also we had a talk about the maintenance
of the rooms and audit policy. The owner promised better.
Paying the bill, the boy at reception charged us the full amount. After speaking with the owner he gave us after some discussion $10 discount.

Room Tip: A room with a window is throwing away your money, unless you want to see the wall of the neighbours...

An unfortunate coincidence...
Nr 7 of 213 guesthouses in Phnom Penh,Yes we are!
We would also like to thank the 373 guests whom take time to write all these good reviews and all the feedbacks so we can improve our service.

August is a low season in Cambodia,so many hotels and guesthousesmust have take time to do renovation to maintain/improve comfort for their guests. While Mr Berendino arrive at Europe guesthouse,he book for 2 nights only,he check everything in the room like Sherlock Holmes.
Yes, Europe guesthouse is thats in the citycentre, near riverside. That is the reason make many people stay, but not only, that why he dicide to stay 5 nights.
The pipes in room 103 had to be repaired, this was done in the afternoon when most of the guests are outside, unfortunately the room 102 is next door. Mr Berendino mentioned the inconveniences of the improvement works and we could move him to a better room for the on the same floor.
We typically offer our guests a visit to the rooms so they know what they get in advance, some clients enjoy having daylight in their room, while still benefitting from the quietness due to the double glass windows, others prefer do not mind and take other rooms.
As promised to Mr. Berendino, we had take notice of his remarks and will fixe whatever could be, except for the wall of our neighbours :)
Room 105 is not our best nice view room,it is at the back side of the house and are very quiet with double glasses and new Bathroom.
for nice view we are happy to inform yours guests that we set a new rooftop on the 5th floor.
In morning of the last day,we had to switch off the water for a short period of time. there was a water leaking in one room and we had to switch off the water in the building. Indeed, for an unplanned work, we are not able to inform all 12 rooms before.
only Mr Bernedino come to complain us.

Also Mr. Berendino is right about saying that we did also work to improve our private space : I am proud to announce that my wife is expecting a baby. Yes, a guesthouse is not an Grand hotel and I have to take care of the comfort of my family too.

To put in our local view, 10$ might not be much for western countries, but it's about 15% discount on his Europeguesthouse's bill.
even with this discount,Mr Berendino was not happy,he tell us he "deserve it" before to leaved.

Stayed back in early July and I was skeptical at first but the first few days were good. Nothing bad at all to say about that place. Everyone was kind and the rooms were nice and tidy. The only downside is the stairs. Good god, ask for a room closer to the main floor.

The rooms are clean, the beds rock hard foam, and the showers are good. The owners kids are very noisy in the mornings and as of late, they have construction going on next door that is extremely loud.

If you can tolerate hard beds and noise, I'd definitely recommend it. The employees are very helpful and nice.
