This hotel surprisingly turned out to be clean, comfortable and the staff/manager were a friendly lot. We really had a nice 6 days/5 nights stay there.
The place is quiet and not noisy with massage available just next door. Service there is also very friendly.
This place is about 20 to 30 minutes walk to the Palace but of course while walking towards the palace a lot of tuk tuk will come asking whether you want to take a ride or not. Note the opening time of the Palace, morning not sure when they close for visitors because even reaching there at about 10.30am the doors were closed. We need to go there after 2 oclock then only we managed to go in - cost a hefty sum with not much viewing inside as expected. Other places of interest would be the Central Market - shopping area for souvenirs such as semi precious stones (i think?), scarf, shawl, bags etc. We went crazy bargain hunting with all the stalls for cheap souvenirs. We also visited the Killing fields, genocide museum, the school turned prison, shopping malls, etc. On the whole a very enjoyable time there.
