Description: We look forward to welcoming you at Tacos Kokopelli Mexican Restaurant (previously Alley Cat Cafe). Kokopelli is a humpbacked flute playing fertility deity who presides over agriculture, especially the corn and flour that are the basis for our tortillas. Come and enjoy fresh local Cambodian ingredients in authentic Mexican dishes, or enjoy Kokopelli's trickster side in Asian fusion that pairs the most delicious regional dishes with Mexican presentations. Kokopelli's musical nature is manifested in our weekly Sunday Sundowner Sessions jam and open mic hosted by Joe Wrigley, and LIVE music nights on Fridays. At Tacos Kokopelli we are committed to doing what's right for the environment, not because it's trendy or hip, but because it's the right thing to do. Our menu showcases fresh local produce, focusing on sustainable meats and including vegetarian and vegan options. We are not using plastic water bottles, and will be offering free chilled water instead. Our lighting is comprised of low energy and LED bulbs and we are reducing our energy use wherever possible. Our used oil goes to Naga biofuels for safe recycling, and all our cans and paper / cardboard is recycled too. For delivery we will use biodegradable containers in place of styrofoam, and we think that's a very good thing, and hope you do too! See you soon at Tacos Kokopelli.

many specials throughout the day and week. Pancake mania! Owner is an interesting guy to chat with and plenty of food options from America. Not the same as Aussie tex-mex. Worth a trip and the cocktails are usually good.

Pretty good food considering you're in Cambodia and it's Mexican style food. I ordered some nachos and a quesadilla for my kids. It really was very good. When we arrived we almost left based on the look of the place. It's just a dingy looking little hole in the wall but I was very glad that we stayed and gave it a try. In the U.S. I'd say the food was average at best but for here I'd say it was at least very good.

Hard to find lodged in an alley (big surprise).
They sometimes have live music.

The mexican food is good and cheap.

Did not try it on weekends where the place is packed.

My wife and I both knew it. This was exactly the kind of place we would have frequented before having kids. Down a narrow street. Diner seating. Cosy bar. Even a regular patron and his dog. Very good food. Beers in a cooler. If you have older kids or no kids at all, highly recommend.

Pros:
- Good quality bun on burgers.
- Burger patties moist & succulent.
- Lots of options in terms of menu items and burger fillings.
- Good variety of daily specials.
- Offers delivery.

Cons:
- Fries were mushy.
- "Sour cream" had the consistency of ricotta (we decided not to risk it, and so didn't touch it).
- "Salsa" was just chopped tomatoes, couldn't taste (or see) anything else in it.
- Some small slivers of bone in the pulled pork.
- Extremely long delivery times.

Conclusion: Food was reasonable, and we would eat here again if convenient for us, but not worth going out of our way for. Certainly not the worst, but also quite far off from being the best; plenty of better out there in this price range.
