This gorgeous boutique hotel is an elegant oasis. Spotlessly clean, it's a tribute to great design, interior decoration, fabulous service and delicious cuisine. Attention is given to every detail and the staff are always thinking ahead how they can help you. It's just wonderful. I highly recommend Le Safran la suite.

The hotel is ideally located, i found my room, which was a side room to be very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was the best i had while in Cambodia, as much coffee as you want, the staff are really welcoming, but the best bit is the pool, a very welcoming sight after a hot day looking round Phnom penn

I went to Cambodia for the first time this year and stayed at Le Safran for a total of 10 days in March. I absolutely loved my stay here. First up, for this price, which is neither too cheap nor too steep, it is a steal for what you get. The rooms are extremely clean, very artistically designed, yet not over the top. Food, the food is excellent. Yes while In Phnom Penh you do want to be eating around the city, but the kitchen churns out some delicious meals especially their prawn dishes (My colleague and I asked them to a prawn with kampot pepper which was excellent!) the Breakfast which is included in the room charge includes a flaky, delicious pain au chocolat/croissant, juice/fruit plate, coffee and eggs. Now on to the staff, everyone is friendly, respectful and helpful. The owner takes an active role in running the hotel and we were told also cooks in the kitchen! To sum, up, I'd stay here again and would, hands down, recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Phnom Penh. And oh, its VERY centrally located!

Booked three nights here in advance, on the recommendation of an ex-pat friend in the city. The day I arrived, there was unfortunately a power cut on the block. I was greeted at the gate, received sincere apologies from the (very glamorous) owner, and sent on a complimentary tuk-tuk around the block to a (very comfortable) sister property. They brought me back in the morning, and comp'd my first night's stay. Hotel is very smartly designed - think white walls, cultured-cement floors, and splashes of colour and Cambodian art work carefully placed throughout the property. Brunch was fantastic - baskets of fresh pastries, strong coffee, fresh fruits, omelettes made to order. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly with small requests (laundry, pool towels). Would stay here again in a flash

My wife and I stayed in this small hotel twice last month. First when we arrived in Phnom Penh and second when we returned from Siem Reap. On first encountering the hotel, it seemed somewhat sparse and minimalistic. But we quickly learned that it was very comfortable with a helpful staff, great breakfast, and good location. We had the hotel arrange for a driver to pick us up from the airport on both of our arrivals. Good choice since it saved time and trouble. The hotel's tuk tuk drivers were good. But the staff were the best. We weren't the easiest guests and they accommodated our needs quickly and with a smile.

Room Tip: The ground floor rooms in the back are dark and really have no view. So request an upstairs room wh...

Nice little hotel set in a side street in Phnom Penn.We were expecting a room overlooking the pool but this was not available so we had a room on the side of the building.A little disappointing however it was very clean and quiet complete with good quality toiletries ,hair dryer etc.The little hotel has lovely pieces of furniture in the public areas. There is also a small shop where all the profits go to a charity.Outside the building is a lovely pool and well kept gardens.A wonderful restaurant completes the hotel .We found the food extremely good and reasonably priced. The staff at this little place are really attentive and appear to be very proud of their positions at the hotel.Would we stay here again? Yes but we were the only English there at that time .

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool as they are much bigger.Make certain that it is available at tim...

We stayed here with our 3 year old son and loved it. We had a double room with a balcony which had enough room to put a mattress on the floor for him, and after we returned to PP from Kep, we had a triple room with balcony. The pool is small, clean and perfect for a dip after a day out and about. The breakfast was great (coffee was good!) and plenty of it to start the day. The staff were fabulous, and nothing was too much trouble. They always had a smile on their faces and were happy to help, even calling locally to check up on river boat rides for us. The location is excellent, right by the Independence monument but down a side street opposite Wat Lanka so surprisingly quiet for being so central. There are many little cafes to eat at nearby and the riverfront is just a short tuk tuk ride away. I would definitely stay here again and I'll be recommending it to my friends when they visit!

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms with a balcony are light and overlook the pool, book these if you think you'll be d...
