Stayed in a superior suite on the 2nd floor during the opeining week at this hotel. Everything was brand new and tastefully decorated, the most comfortable beds I have slept on in Asia. The suite itself is huge with a good sized balcony overlooking the Mekong River. Great to watch the people along the esplanade.  We stayed 2 nights and had breakfast delivered to the room both times, American breakfast, fresh bread basket, orange juice and cappuccino all include in the room price.

Staff was excellent and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I look forward to returning and will definitely be recommending this place to all my family and friends

The room was very cozy and huge. I like the location, Royal Palace and many others near by. But mostly staff were customer-friendly. It seemed I was staying at a 5 star hotel. Highly recommended.

This new hotel has just 8 rooms and while it doesn't call itself a boutique, it is! The location is brilliant and rooms equally so. It is located on one of the prettiest and hottest spots on Phnom Penh's River front. Walk out the door to find steps a way a plethora of new, chic bar/restaurants, cafes as well as Phnom Penh's nostalgic older, open air standbys.

A deluxe room, maintains preserved french tiles which give it added charm. Soft pale grays, whites, high ceiings, fans, huge bathrooms with state-of-the art showers, huge soft white towels, the best beds and high quality linens, robes (his and hers), slippers, safes, coffee/tea in the room, a perfect size dressing/wardrobe/desk area invisibly dividing the living/sleeping area, giving the whole room an open, airy, light peaceful feel... an inspired renovation that has captured the French colonial ambiance Phnom Penh is so famous for.

This hotel is like living at home. The room has a comfy sofa where guests can put their feet up at the end of a hot long day. This single addition of added comfort creates an atmosphere of a home, not just a place to sleep with a bed and one chair. Rather a real home.

NO elevator, no pool. But the hotel offers free tuk tuk service to a nearby sister hotel where guests can use their pool. Nothing is lost. Breakfast can be taken in the room (on the patio overlooking Phnom Penh's upgraded and vastly improved riverfront walk) or next door. Lovely breakfast and lovely service.

This is the kind of hotel where you simply want to stay, not for one night, but for days. The outdoor patio has achieved an indoor/outdoor effect, so whether inside or out, guests feel as if they are "on the river". Lie in bed and open the drapes to watch early morning fishermen ply their long tail skiffs along the Mekong and Tongle sap. Another world, another time. THe best Phnom Penh has to offer.

This is a secret hard to give away. Prices absolutely the best possible value for money and this small boutique hotel competes with the city's 5 stars.

The lobby is small and a suitable gateway to the rooms. There is a computer for public use and free wifi. Staff are helpful, welcoming and always prepared to help.

Room Tip: This review is based on the deluxe rooms, facing the riverside.

Hi There,

WOW....thank you so much for the review, we were completely blown away with your praise for our hotel.

We were always hopeful to receive such praise but to receive it so early after opening (Approximately 2 weeks ago) we were so happy. We have shared your review with our team members and everyone was very happy. We will print your review out and put on our office wall to display proudly and as inspiration on what we can achieve.

We really look forward to you hopefully returning again in the near future. Thanks so much again for your review and recommendation.

Happy Travels!!

My stay in this hotel was nothing short of exemplary. I made an error with my booking and came a day early, but they happily checked me in with no fuss at all. The staff were kind from start to finish, and were brilliant for my whole trip - especially I'd like to thank Mr Buntheo at reception for his efforts to make us feel welcome and always happy to go the extra mile for us. For the price, the room is incredible, and I would love to design my own room like it. Everything about the room was spot-on, and the bed was SO comfortable, The balcony area is gorgeous with a perfect view of the river (though it could use a fan out there...) and to watch the nightlife / early morning exercisers go at it. Inside our room, we could not hear any of the traffic from outside. It was just perfect on all levels. I hugely recommend! :)

I decided to try the River Side because it's brand new and it was recommended by its sister property, Monument Hotel where i normally stay and it was fully booked. I stayed in April 2012 while I was in Phnom Penh for a conference.
The location was ideal as it is on the river side
Hotel is clean and tastefully decorated.
The staff were extremely polite and the reception were helpful in arranging a bus to Kep. With Good English
My room was spacious and the large bed very comfortable. balcony view was ultimate
There was a large flat-screen TV in the room with cable movies
The room had both a fan and an air conditioner, so I was able to adjust the temperature however I liked.
There was complimentary Wi-Fi.
I loved it and would stay again.

We stayed at the River Side for two nights at the start of our holiday and were made really welcome by the friendly staff. Our room which faced the river was very comfortable and quiet because of the extra care taken to control noise from the river side night life. We had children with us and our suite was big enough to accommodate 4 of us.
Highly recommended for families.

Hi There,

Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel!

We designed the river facing suites to have double glazed, sound proof glass to ensure that the outside noise does not disturb our guests. It is great to know that it works so well!!

We aim to be a very family friendly hotel and glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed the hotel. We also provide a free return Tuk Tuk to our sister hotels in Phnom Penh so that you can enjoy the swimming pool there. Even more fun for the family!!

Thanks again for the review and recommendation

We loved this hotel, and would most definetly stay again. Location was right in the middle of the riverside, we had a great room with a large balcony overlooking the Mekong river. From this hotel we could walk to the Royal Palace and night markets, we also enjoyed a sunset cruise along the river that the staff organized for us.
The room was huge and had a chaise lounger to relax on. We also had the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on during our Asia holiday. Staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. Contact the hotel directly for a better nightly rate. We highly recommend!
