Decent place to stay - we were only there two nights.

Nothing too flash, but it did the job. Clean room, nice bed, good location.

When you get a Tuk Tuk make sure you emphasis Diamond Palace II (I use to show them on my phone) as there is another Diamond Palace!

Was visited Feb/Marcxh 14 after a thieving incident at another local hotel.

Walked into off the street and got a room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a top floor room facing the palace which is just across the street. The top floor seemed to be enough to elevrvate us away from all the road noise which was very nice.

The room was ageing but well kept. The bathroom, a standard We Asian bathroom with the toilet, shower, sink all fighting for central position but that's pretty common.

The nearby wedding woke us at 5am with the blaring traditional music but I guess when in Rome.

The staff happily organised a last minute bus out of town for us.

Present stay overall

Directly next to the national palace & museum. Decent breakfast. Dirty rooms. There was a red liquid visibly dripping down my wall. Worse than that there was a maxi pad stuck on the side of the mattress. The shower was mounted above the toilet making it very awkward to use. I wouldn't stay there again.

This is a good budget hotel. I booked online and everything went smoothly. Room was clean and the AC and hot water work excellently. Free breakfast was average but for $20/night you can't really go wrong. I've paid more for other places that didn't compare so it was a nice surprise.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel directly across from the Royal Palace. The location was awesome within walking distance to the riverfront shops and restaurants, and to the Night Market. The hotel recommended a great tuk tuk driver to take us to the Killing Fields and S-21 Museum for $20...be ready for a bumpy ride! It was an awesome day though. Phnom Penh was a delightful surprise.

The hotel had to move us after the first night because of some booking and our second room was noisier and the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The room was very basic and clean. No unwanted creatures or filth. The breakfast was small, limited, made to order and not great. Other food was overpriced.

However, the staff was so helpful and kind. Cambodian people are very warm and welcoming. We would consider staying here again, especially the area...but would look elsewhere too.

FYI...they booked us a private car to Siem Reap, which was helpful. However, the journey is never as short as they tell you. We were told 4-4.5 hours and it took 6 hours, with our driver uncomfortably speeding most of the way.

You pay for you get. It's in a fantastic location, next to the royal palace and museum. It's not the best hotel but it's not terrible either. Rooms were clean, bathroom was a little strange. Can't complain for $25 a night. I would stay here again.

Stayed one night here, the room was fine for its price, but there were no windows. Walking distance to The Royal Palace, the National Museum and the river front. I would stay here again when I come back to Phnom Penh in April.
