This boutique 5* hotel really lives up to its name. We had such a wonderful stay there. Staff were incredibly attentive and breakfast was amazing. Room was spacious and the little extras like mats and slippers by the beds were a nice touch. Highly recommend for luxury. We will definitely stay again when we next visit Cambodia.

Raffles Hotel Le Regent is a timeless gem amid the hurly burly chaos of downtown Phnom Penh.

My partner and I stayed there for a week in early July. And it was so good we rebooked for another week later in the month.

The pools and gardens around them are delightfully tranquil, although you do hear the occasional siren from the busy roads outside.

The Elephant Bar is equally timeless with classic signature drinks and welcoming staff.

Best of all the meals in Elephant Bar are good quality and great value. Nasi Goreng is highly recommended but it is all great. And the bar staff are both highly professional and friendly and welcoming.

Dear McGlashan,

We very much appreciate your recent Tripadvisor review of our colonial Oasis here at Raffles hotel Le Royal Cambodia.

Thank you for your heart warming comments and more so on your back to back chosen stays with us, we are pleased to note that you had a most enjoyable stay along with the compliments of our hotel facilities alike.

The review of our Elephant bar more so on our decor and ambiance with it being indeed the perfect place to enjoy a quiet concoction of mixology whilst in the bustling city of Phnom Pehn, the Femme Fatale is an acquired taste and craftily created for the visit of Jacqueline Kennedy whom wished to fulfill her life long dream of visiting Cambodia.

We look forward to seeing you back in the Kingdom in the near future, please do let us know when your travels will bring you back this side.

Sincere Regards.

A lovely hotel, just as expected from Raffles. Raffles is a big brand and really needs no introduction. I would recommend staying here as it’s in a central location and you can walk to most places or get a tuk tuk for a small price.

The food and service here is impeccable!

Unfortunately we only had one night at this grand hotel. The staff were incredible and even though we arrived earlier than expected they organized us another room. We were welcomed with delicious refreshing drinks and our own Cambodian traditional scarf. Our room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We spent a few hours at the pool (enjoyed a lovely lunch poolside)before we headed to the spa for an hour relaxing massage. We had drinks at the Elephant Bar (yummy gin cocktails) and landed up staying for an easy dinner. Breakfast was superb with options galore. Thank you for looking after us so well . Akun

We stayed here for only one night before flying to Langkawi. Although also an Accor hotel now, I believe the Sofitel is better value. Breakfast buffet though is also exceptional here, with Moët served as well as a health bar. Great options available for healthy food choices. This is a very grand, colonial style hotel and you can imagine being in an Agatha Christie setting while walking down the halls. Staff, same as everywhere in Cambodia, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention to our ‘butler’, who not only brought up a surprise birthday cake for me but also sang happy birthday, very thoughtful and touching. We were in the old part of the hotel and while it was quite nice, the room was small and the shower did not function very well. Overall if you are looking for an outstanding experience in Phnom Penh I would definitely recommend the Sofitel over this one.

Dear MelanieBaurhenn,

Thank you for your glowing and very comprehensive review of your time at our colonial Oasis, we do appreciate the feedback and the time you've taken to tell others about your short yet memorable stay.

I am very pleased to read that you chose Raffles for these celebrations and strive to anticipate our guests' every wish - serving them as a gentle summer breeze that is always there but not consciously noticeable. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our team members as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services.

The current sensitive restoration of Raffles hotel Le Royal is designed to ensure that we retain what is so special about Raffles – the ambiance, the service, the charm and the heritage of the hotel. It is also designed for Raffles Le Royal to stay relevant and distinctive by moving with the times and with its guests and adapting to the changing needs of the well-traveled and Cambodia's community, we are also pleased to note that our sister hotel the Sofitel lives up to its contemporary and modern setting in the bustling city of Phnom Penh,

Once again, thank you for staying with us and we all look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable holiday experience.

With kind regards,

Dennis de Groot
Hotel Manager.
