The hotel is excellent value and offers very good facilities. The pool area is particualy inviting. Whilst the hotel is situated out of the main areas there are numerours tuk tuk taxis that get you around very cheap. as a base for exploration its ideal making a very pleasent return after a days sightseeing to crash by the pool. Not sure if its the law but getting a drink of brandy or g&t before 2 pm not possible. Otherwise a good experience

The location of the hotel is good for a family, on a quiet road but only 5-8 minutes in a tuk tuk to most of the busy shopping and restaurant areas. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate. The shower in the bathroom is a power shower which is great after a day out in the dusty city. The pool setting is lovely, large resort pool and jacuzzi which the children enjoyed. Breakfast in the hotel is fine but there are plenty of trendy cafes and restaurants that serve great coffee and food in street 240. The children enjoyed eating at the Friends restaurant, food is fantastic and cheap but booking is a must as we queued outside for 40min on our first visit but the food was definitely worth the wait! Overall a good family hotel at a reasonable price.

What some people dislike others like. I for one loved being away from the bustle of traffic and noise especially after 2 weeks in Vietnam. The Juliana was away from the main touristy area near the river which made it very peaceful. It was a short tuk tuk ride to the river which was an adventure in itself.
The rooms we had on the ground floor were very small, outdated but adequate. We had a full day Angkor tour and only stayed for 2 nights so all we wanted was a good quiet bed to sleep in which is what we got. The foyer and restaurant were really nice. The private large pool was the highlight, set in a pretty tropical garden with lots of deck chairs and tables with lots of Heinekens adding to the ambience. Visiting those temples is thirsty work!
Breakfast was good as it has been everywhere we have stayed in Cambodia and Vietnam. It mightn't be what you're used to at home but trying new things is the greatest joy of traveling.
We went to the riverfront for dinners where there is a lot of choice. Went to a great french restaurant on a corner with wicker lounges outside ( opposite where there's a big aerobics class on the river walk). All very fascinating and disturbing at times.
Would love to return to this amazing town and country and would definitely stay at the Juliana again.

Room Tip: Not sure how to advise about room types. Our rooms were very quiet, out the back behind the pool but...

The approach road leading to the hotel is rather smelly but once you are inside, the atmosphere is not too bad. Our rooms were spacious overlooking the pool which is large and clean. The coridoors are not air conditioned. Breakfast was a reasonably good spread. The location is inconvenient and you need a tuktuk to take you to the river area.

Room Tip: Go for a poolside room.

I stayed 2 nights at deluxe rooms at ground floor .front is a pool.the room is new renovated ...it is quite moderate.around hotel is 4-5 restaurants. Quite far for shopping place.the room facilities are alright. Sleeping is good. You can have massage hours at your room or massage place from hotel. The cost is reasonable. The breakfast is ok.alot fof your choice. The dinner buffet is good with reasonble price

First of all we got a discount so even with that the hotel was overpriced. Reservations no problem and check in went well. Really bad location with crappy surroundings and no good eating nearby.
Hotel buildng itself is good. Rooms good size but poor views from the room both stays. Great hotel pool was nice to have. Air conditioning in room did not work well despite several attempts at fixing.
Front staff had problems with english and no maps of the city or surrounding neighborhood. Bellhops helped get Tuk Tuks but did not help with proper price to pay.
Breakfast was great.
Paid $58 for single. Sign at front desk says $125.

In total we stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The rooms were spacy and clean. The staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast were good. The food was good, although the dinner was too Japanese (Lots of raw fish, squid and sea fruits) . The continental breakfast was not very good, the asian breakfast on the contrary was excellent. Wifi was available in every room and for free! The airco worked very well. The restaurants in the neighbourhood were very cheap and the food was not too bad. The price for a buffet in the restaurant was 17 dollar
