Description: The great wall of China was originally built to keep Chuck Norris out. It failed miserably. With a single fist full, Chuck Norris brought millions of dim sums over the wall to share with Phnom Penh's foodies. Did Chuck Norris steal? No, he borrowed. The only thing Chuck Norris steals is hearts.

“Forget the food, get a fire shot and enjoy the view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

Located in the heart of "girlie bar" Street 51, Chuck Norris is no place for the faint hearted or those in search of fine cuisine. Streetside streets give diners a birds' eye view of all the weirdness of Street 51 and the wingnuts it attracts, as the parade of paunching middle-aged western men with young Cambodian girls on their arms is bizarre yet oddly entertaining. It's just a business that most people don't engage in. Chuck Norris is a place to get decent dim sum (try the roulette raviolis, tiny pillows of savory diced stuffing except one, which contains fiery Chinese mustard) and have a fire shot - a shot of high octane rice wine with a Thai chili rubbed around the edge of the glass. Go around 10, grab a seat and a beer and spend an hour watching the seedy side of Phnom Penh go by from a safe distance.

“No longer open for business...”

This place is now for sale and no longer appears to be open.

Wish we'd checked on TA for an update before going out to look for it ...

“Locked up and for sale!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 January 2014

We decided to try Chuck Norris Dim Sum today upon returning to Phnom Penh after reading some of the reviews. As we walked for a couple blocks thinking of the yummy dim sum, we came up to the restaurant, we found it locked up tight and a for sale across the gate.

“Great late night snack”

After a night of clubs and drinks. Great place to sit and relax and get a great feed and wash it down with a cold beer. I've even watched the sun rise. Lol

“Tasty dim sum.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

I had read the reviews for this place while i was still in Oz.
must say that i was a tad disappointed. I was expecting a better experience based on the other reviews. It was good food, not amazing but definitely tasty.
You do need to order quite a few plates to get full.
anyway it is still worth a look and i think if i was in PP again for a week i would probably go back.
