Owner description: Barsito is the first and most unique Speakeasy Bar in Phnom Penh. Tucked down the exciting nightlife alleyway of 240 & 1/2, Barsito is dedicated to offering something different to the expat, Khmer & tourist markets. Barsito is composed of three little bars inside, such as the Main Room serving specially designed creative cocktails. The Champagne Bar offering an impressive selection of Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, and Sparkling Cocktails. And also The Club Room with a unique selection of Cigars, Whiskies and Rums. The 240 & 1/2 alleyway offers a wide range of nightlife options including Townhouse Supper Club (the only classy restaurant in PP where the kitchen opens until 1:30am) and 2 new bars opening soon, and of course Bar.sito. For day time there's Artillery Café serving healthy & tasty food, and La Casita Premium Spirits Shop by La Familia. Barsito is derived from Spanish, meaning "small bar".

I heard about this place and how cool and trendy it is but i think they're too trendy for their own good in that they didn't care if anyone can find them. It was pretty hidden and hard to find, was this done intentionally? If you don't want customers then don't open up a bar. The place had no ventilation and all the smoking indoors can easily take a few years off your lifespan. Service is slow and drinks just drinkable.

There are too many outdoor cafes and venues in PP that have offer beautiful of the street life and the river to was being indoors, especially with the great tropic weather.

I'm just writing this review about Bar Sito but I have already been to this place dozens of time; on my opinion, this place is the best bar in Phnom Penh and one of the best I have ever been in SEA.
Cocktails there are amazing even if I admit that I mostly order the Espresso Martini which is fantastic there and surely the best I have ever tasted; Negroni is also a good choice.
One more reason why I love this place is the atmosphere; the stylish but simple decoration makes you feel comfortable in this place so perfect for having drinks with your friends.
Music is also a must in there due to the good tastes of the owners as there is no DJ playing.
I do recommend this place for a small group of friends wanted to taste great cocktails in an amazing place.

It's great to see some bad reviews from people who obviously are looking for local beer at USD1.00. It keeps the bar set high at Sito.
Sito is hard to find, that's the great thing about it. It was put together by a couple of lads who certainly know what hey are doing and they do it well.
Yes there is a smoke issue there - deal with it.
The cocktails are great and now that they have opened up the Public House next door there are bar snacks available.
If USD 5 is too much for a cocktail then this is NOT the place for you.
The clientele are mainly expats - NOT English teacher types - however more locals with a yearning from the average mundane copy cat bar, with no feeling or atmosphere that are flooding the town - are patronising the venue.

Please if you are the flip flop wearing type of tourist, please dont try to find Sito. Its not for you.

- All round a great bar -

this place was tugged away, off Street 240. Finding this place, newcomers could easily walked passed in the alley. The door was so cleverly hidden that it blended so well with its surrounding.

Come to our surprise, the inside had one of the best designs for a bar in Phnom Penh. The lightly dimmed room reminded us of the underground bars in Moscow. The drinks however were a bit of a disappointment and there is no food available although the owner did say we could order delivery from nearby restaurants. very smoky atmosphere, if you can find it, worth a visit for the decoration but nothing more.

As others mentioned already, the bar is not easy to find since there is no sign and it's not on the street. I had to ask a security guy.. The place is nice, small and the most stylish probably in Phnom Pehn. The thing is that most likely you didn't travel thousands of miles to come to this corner of the planet to go and hang out at a stylish little bar similar to many back home.. That's why Sito bar is a meeting point for some expats who appreciate it's difference and barely any tourists. Actually this (quiet) area is supposed to be the "hip" area of the city as I found out, few restaurats-bars for the expat community. It could be nice to visit if you're staying for a long time but for a few days visit don't bother to...
