Good quality hotel with rooftop pool. Good value for the $35 a night we paid. It's a bit away from the centre but we found that quite good and it was only a couple of dollars to get in and out. plenty of choice for breakfast.

Not the stylish crispy decor the online pictures painted. Dirty walls and carpets and a stench coming from our bathroom so disgusting I held my breath to shower.
Money better spent on the smaller hotels closer to the more popular tourist areas. Big regret on our very last night in Cambodia.

When we learned we had to stay in Phnom Penh an extra night, we decided to look for a funky and chic hotel to hang in since we had already visited the sites we planned on seeing. Frangipani was clearly new and had great service and clean, spacious rooms. We hung in both the pools (one downstairs and one on the room), but mostly loved playing ping pong on the roof.

Excellent breakfast and great location for walking around!

We got a "flash deal" on Agoda and paid around $33/night. At that rate, it seemed like a reasonable price, however I would have been disappointed if we had paid anything more than that.

Lovely hotel when we were paying the promotion fee of about $40 per night. Staff are really friendly, and the rooms are nice and breakfast was fine. Sadly, the finishing touches to the build were all a little bit poor. It seems they had one hotel built that was great and have tried to replicate the same format but with cheaper builders and it just didn't quite work.

I stayed at the Frangipani for 5 nights while my husband was in Phnom Penh for meetings. Good things - very close to Russian Market and lots of restaurants; nice pool; friendly staff. I feel like the housekeeping staff are poorly trained. When I checked into my room, I had only one bath towel, one robe, and no case on one of the pillows. Also, the trash had not been emptied from the previous guest. I had to ask the staff twice to bring those items up to my room. The next time we had the room cleaned, a roll of toilet paper was in the sink - very strange. Otherwise, the hotel seems about average in comfort and cleanliness. But I would probably stay here again because of the location. I had to check out one night early, and although they wouldn't give me a refund for the one night because I'd booked through Agoda, they did allow one of my friends to use the room for the night so she could use the pool. Happy compromise!

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed for 3 nights and we were delighted with it. Amazing value for money. Cute little rooms - quite basic, but for the money you pay, it's above and beyond what you expect. Fantastic rooftop pool and bar - a nice surprise when we arrived. The food on offer on the roof could do with a little more inspiration, but there's plenty of authentic Khmer places on its doorstep, so not a big problem. Extremely friendly staff, lovely breakfasts and fantastic location - the back door leads out on to the amazing Russian Markets - another great surprise! If you're looking for something easy, simple and clean without all the bells and whistles, this is the place! Thanks to all the staff for making it so pleasant.
