“Awesome hotel in Phnom Penh.”
Reviewed 31 August 2014

Nothing much to say : the location is great and the family rooms are huge. With a large and warm swimming pool and a very nice lobby/dining area tucked in greenery, this hotel is definitely a very good value.

A thoroughly decent hotel. Very friendly staff, a beautiful reception area, and a lovely bedroom (we had a 2 bedroom suite). The location is pretty good and there are loads of decent restaurants within walking distance too

We stayed here in august and loved it. The hotel is immaculate and has all the services you need and a great pool. The food at the restaurant is also very good. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and can't do enough for you. It's in a great local area but close enough to walk into town. Tuk tuks are waiting outside to take you anywhere for a cheap price. Brilliant value!

We were a group of 8 sharing 4 rooms, mainly the 2 bedroom suites. Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Rooms were very spacious. This is a boutique hotel so every room is different. Staff was polite and always obliging. Breakfast was limited in spread but there was always plenty of food including fresh fruits. Also menu alters daily. Swimming pool fantastic for cooling off but not that great for doing laps. Location is great for all the main sights. Within 20 minutes walk to most of the sights or a short $2 tuk-tuk ride. There are always a few tuk tuks outside the hotel with the riders wearing orange `Friends of Teahouse' and they are reliable. Several restaurants close by for local food. `Magnolia' for Vietnamese food and `Mother in Law House' for Cambodian cuisine. The hotel can arrange pick up from the airport at reasonable prices. if there is a larger group, booking the minivan costs only $20. Will stay again!!

Room Tip: 2 bedroom suites are cheaper and more spacious if you were thinking of booking 2 double rooms. Some...

Located around a 20 minute walk from the Royal Palace, the Teahouse hides an oasis of calm in this hectic city with well-aired and decorated open plan reception and dining areas alongside pool and gardens. Staff in all areas were helpful and quietly efficient. Our double room on the fourth floor was a decent size, comfortable and well-furnished. A highlight of the hotel was the well-stocked buffet breakfast providing a range of hot options to cater for both western and local tastes, along with a selection of pastries, breads and fruits. This all combined to provide fine value for money.

Start by saying more staff education would help. Only one or two able to tell us much about attractions etc e.g. Opening times, renting bikes, and English not spoken by many. Apart from this all friendly and keen to please. Pleasant breakfast if a little ltd and our room 305 was nice - an upgrade- tho tiles need replacing on floor. Nice cocktails and public and pool areas. Their tuktuk price list helps with negotiations around town too.

A bit hidden away from the Phnom Penh riverside but once you enter, this place takes your heart; the amazing wooden furniture, seats, light, plants everywhere. The kindness of it's staff, the atmosphere of it's rooms and public area's, hard to leave . . . Great pool and pool side, computer area all amidst of wonderful decoration

Room Tip: All rooms are great though a balcony on the pool side would be a plus
