“Nice tapas, slow service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

The first time we went to this place it was just for drinks. We ordered a bottle of white wine and after some considerable time the waiter returned with a bottle of red wine and informed us that there was none of our selected white wine available. He couldn't understand us wanting to pay more to get another white wine so we settled for the red which was nice enough. Other customers seemed really happy with their food so we returned to give it a try. The tapas was really nice and tasty but again the service was unbelievably slow, there were only 2 other people in this place and it took 20 minutes to get our drinks which was disappointing. The food is worth the wait but the drinks aren't so unfortunately we won't be returning.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014 via mobile

We stayed in Phnom Penh for two nights and ate here three times.. The food is really good, (also the price) and the staff is so nice and kind. Very good service and alot of great food! We can recommend the pumpkin soup and the fine chicken with mashed potatoes. Would definately go back here again

“Best food Phnom Penh”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014 via mobile

Don't look anywhere else for the best food, prices & service in Phnom Penh, Street 172. Big portions and great selection of western & Asian favourites in clean, well run restaurant & bar. Khmer owner but with western standards and friendly staff. Big breakfast recommended!

“So good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 October 2013

We stayed over the road at Silver River Hotel and could see this place from the balcony. Nothing special from the outside, very similar to the rest on this street but we're so glad we dined here. We ended up returning again.

They don't do fried spring rolls but they do have these "fried pork dumplings" which are divine - not greasy at all I'd highly recommend you stop here for a beer and try them even if you don't dine here for a full meal. I had the simple egg fried rice the first time which was delicious as anywhere else but the second time I tried sweet and sour chicken which was a bit of a let down with some gristly bits.

A great place to sit and people watch on St 172, especially the "Gladiator" bar over the road!
