“Fantastic Location, and Wonderful Staff.”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

booked in for 5 nights over 2 separate bookings at the Angkor International, and couldn't be Happier With Either booking.

the initial 4 nights were in a Deluxe Double, Huge room, Super cold Air Con and Nice bathroom Facilities, for the price, its very hard to do anything else but smile.
The staff were super friendly, Talked up the Breakfast "Just a tad", but whenever there is omelette and Bacon available, that ticks all the breakfast boxes for me.

moved into a Triple Room for the last night, and was moved into that room at 7am on request of asking if the room would be ready by about 1pm when our third guest arrived, super efficient, big hotel so more opportunity for that to happen, but just a real nice little touch that was a good start to the day.

Would Highly recommend this place for all types of people, from backpackers looking for a bit of a upgrade mid Holiday, But Budget Conscience families looking for nice big rooms for everyone.

Thanks for the Time Team.

Room Tip: with heaps of available rooms given its size, if one doesnt suit to your liking, they are more to ha...

Fantastic location, very close to Riverfront and within walking distance to Central Market! The staff were extremely friendly and managed to find us a room in busy times (we hadn't booked). The breakfast was also one of the best we've found in Cambodia! The room wasn't the best quality - bathroom wasn't the best and the drain smelt quite bad at times, we could also feel some springs through the mattress when laying - For only $25 a night though (double en suite), all things considered, I would definitely recommend this as a bargain hotel!!
We did however find their laundry service very poor - clothes still unclean. So go elsewhere for this, it will be cheaper too!

This hotel was ok, the lobby area and restaurant are really nice but the rooms do not necessarily match that. Everything was clean but just very basic. The elevator was strangely modern. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and I could not say a bad word about them.

We stayed in three (3) triple room and one double (twin bed) room. We arrived 15 April 2014 which was the second day of the Khmer New Year. The receptionist informed us that they were under manned because of the holiday. Despite the situation however, the staff were accommodating and tried their very best to address whatever issues/questions we had. Mr. Leng was very helpful (from hailing Tuktuks to answering queries of where to go). Breakfast buffet was a surprise and better than I expected. CONS: This hotel did not have any room telephone/intercon so it was quite difficult communicating with the other family members and also with reception. Also, hotel management should not have offered a room with a defective bathroom lock. The door had a missing door knob but still had the rest of the mechanism on the door which caused my niece to be locked inside the bathroom for about 10 mins. It took a long time for the front desk to respond because they were undermanned. So by the time he went back to our room my niece had already freed herself by using a teaspoon which we managed to pass to her through the hole. It was a good thing that we only stayed for one night on our way to Siem Reap.

The staff at this hotel are amazing! Warm, welcoming, friendly and very knowledgable!
The double superior room I had was kept spotlessly clean daily! The air con worked perfectly and was quiet! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Room Tip: Pay a little more and get a superior double! Very spacious!

We stayed at this hotel with our G Adventures group. It was a very clean and nice hotel in a central location. Our room was clean and we had 2 twin beds, air conditioning, a TV with international channels and a fridge.

The bathroom was also spacious with a tub and shower. The water system appeared to be upgraded and we had our own small hot water heater on the shower. After figuring it out, it worked just fine, although my sister had some user error with the direction of the water and we flooded it a little. However the front desk staff was so nice and we were able to get extra towels.

The breakfast provided was very good with excellent coffee and a person making eggs to order.

The front desk was extremely helpful in facilitating laundry, calling restaurants during the new year to see if they were open, keeping stuff in the safe, etc.

The bar area was also nice and sold extremely cold beer which was very welcome after long bus rides and hot hot afternoons in the city.
