Overall, a good stay. Our superior double through agoda was clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. We only experienced a few problems: our safe never worked properly, even though the staff came up 3x to "fix" it. Our shower never got hot, only luke-warm, even though we had it on the highest heat setting. The "bum gun" in our bathroom was so powerful that it nearly tore me a new butt hole. The wifi frequently went out, which was frustrating. The breakfast buffet wasn't all that good. They need to put the pancakes and french toast in warm chafing dishes, as they were just set out on a plate and always cold. The yogurt tasted spoiled and there were ants crawling all over the table. Our room faced the street and there was a ton of street noise - I'd recommend using earplugs at night.

Fantastic stay for 4 weeks due to teaching voluntarily in Cambodia.
Staff (from cleaners, breakfast staff and front desk) were first class. Helped me with advice while I was unwell.
Breakfast is very good.
Would definitely return!
Thanks,
Paddy and Cloe (England)

Not clean, bedding with holes, staff beligerent and even had the temerity to hint and outright ask for tips! You really don't want to touch the breakfast it's covered with flies when you're not looking!
Look around there are much nicer places !

Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at this hotel, but there were a few hiccups along the way.

The room was nice and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were very friendly - always joking around and making sure we were happy!

However, the bathroom did smell like sewage (coming out of the drain) and the problem wasn't ever fixed - just covered up with a new smell.

Don't do your laundry through their service (they need to get a new provider) as it was more than twice the price of other places and your clothes do not come back clean.

As well, we were told to come down to the lobby at 11:45am for our bus, but at 11:35am they sent up two cleaners who didn't speak English to rush us out of our room and we weren't sure what they were trying to communicate. Then the manager came up and grabbed our stuff and rushed us out. This wasn't consistent with the rest of the service we received however.

It was a great place to stay, they have a few wrinkles to iron out though!

We're a young german couple and travelled across Cambodia for 3 weeks. We stayed at Angkor International for overall 3 times, since Phnom Penh was our basis.
The staff was very kind and sweet, they tried to help where they could and even reduced our bill, because we returned twice.
It's good value for money, the breakfast is good and the rooms were clean. You can reach the Mekong in 10 and the Royal Palace in 15 min by foot. The only point of criticism is that our first room smelled a little musty.
We want to thank the staff at Angkor International for a great stay! We will definetly come again!

I stayed here for four nights in June and don't really have any complaints. I booked the superior room since it was only few dollars more expensive and the room turned out to be huge. I was coming straight from the airport and was dead tired, but managed to get an excellent sleep despite it being in the middle of the day due to the hotel being so calm. The room was located on the fourth floor near the lift and it still managed to be quiet and pleasant.

Other positive things: the room was clean and was cleaned daily, the bed was huge and very comfortable, there was complimentary water every day, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bathroom was clean and pretty and the location was ok even though the area was not the nicest. The shower wasn't the best and the water wasn't really hot, but that is usually rare in SEA so not a big deal. One of the nicest things was daily breakfast from 7-10am, which included fresh omelette and good coffee and either fried rice or fried noodles, beans and fried vegetables.

The hotel is also well known by all the tuk tuk drivers so I never had a problem getting back there. The only minus is that the tuk tuk driver who worked for the hotel still charged me more than usually by saying that I should "pay him whatever I feel comfortable with," which of course meant that I gave him too much since I was visiting the town for the first time. I feel like this should not happen with the driver who wears the shirt of the hotel where I am staying, doesn't give a good impression.

Overall however I would recommend this hotel, it is very convenient and easy if all you want is to rest and eat well. Would go back!

Room Tip: Instead of booking a standard room, pay few dollars extra for superior room and you get so much more...

Overall an ok hotel in a good location with clean rooms. Breakfast was good.

Service was very variable: some very friendly greetings from the evening staff but some attitude bordering on condescending from the day clerks ( i don't know if its because we look young, or are backpackers or something else...)

Most attractions are nearby and walkable distance.
