“Centrally located in the city of Phnom Penh”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 October 2013

booked the hotel through Agoda at the end of September 2013. Nice to see that the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the central market and the bus station. one of the hotel is a tuk-tuk driver, so its easy to get his help after he signed off after work. the room is quite big for a budget hotel and the staff were very, helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the main street will get you to see the lots of things especially in the morning

Rooms were as we expected them to be and were fairly clean. Breakfast was included but was cold all three mornings we were there. In walking distance to the Central Market but not anything else tourist related. We did not feel as though the Riverside was in walking distance, especially in that kind a heat and humidity. I was most dissapointed with the staff. We came from a hotel in Siem Reap and are now at a hotel in hcmc with fabulous staff, but I was not impressed by the Pacific Hotel staff. They appeared to be friendly, but offered us the bare minumum in terms of directions, advice on things to do, cost of things etc...we learned quickly not to go to them for anything. I was actually shocked with how little knowledge they had about the city. I would recommend finding a different hotel closer to Riverside.

It was my 1st time to Phnom Penh, stay in Pacific Hotel a budget 2-3 star hotel . The hotel is located very near to many attration, 5 -10 min walk to Central market & many eateries nearby . Although located next to the main road ,the noise is very minimal.

I paid less then 25 US$ for my room & it is very affordable. The town is great & the people are frendly...& it is cheap compare to Thailand .Would recomend the hotel & phnom phen & i will be back.....

This hotel in centrally based with good tuk tuk access to all the tourist sites in and around the city. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and servicable. Breakfast was a wee bit strange though with cold fried eggs and warmed cold ham.

Stayed here for 2 nights and found it good. Breakfast was included and was average. There are a number of street stalls that set up in the evening nearby offering good, cheap street food. The Central Market is close by, also offering good, cheap food and there is a shopping mall nearby as well.
The main disadvantage is that it is a 15 minute walk to the river area and the pubs and restaurants, but there are scooters and tuk-tuks at the front door of the hotel which will get you there cheaply.

We were brought here, reluctantly after Asia Hotel messed up with our booking and I don't know whether to laugh or cry because it turned out we were being upgraded to a better hotel than its partner. I found out the room price is higher but the manager assured us they gave the same price with what we booked with Asia hotel. And we got a triple room (30usd) that can accommodate five, hahah!! It was spacious and clean, even though the furniture of the room and fixtures of the washroom are outdated but they are CLEAN. The room came with free breakfast but as usual I gave it a pass. The hotel is centrally located and Sorya Shopping Mall and Central Market are just a walking distance. Even though it is situated just beside the busy road, I can get a good night sleep, probably because of the double 'fake' window which absorbed the noise. All in all, it was a good stay and still reasonably priced considering I paid more for the same room in my own country.

We stayed here for 2 nights last week. Centrally located and friendly staff at the front office and housekeeping. Large spacious rooms and bath tub with 24 hours hot water. Limited items on the menu at the restaurant but make it up with the quantity of the serving. Good meal for 3 for less than USD 10. Buffet breakfast could have more options but we are not complaining. You can walk to Central market, Lucky mall, Mekong river and Palace areas from here.
