A hostel that lives up to its name! The 6-person dorm that I stayed in was neat with adequate amenities such as clean towels, lockers, wifi and etc. The communal area provides a great space for interaction with a bar and a pool table. The staff never fail to greet us with a smile whenever they spot us and are ever ready to ask us about our day.

Receptionist Kim Chea particularly helped in the booking of transport and in answering our queries.

A convenient location in PP with a market right around the corner!

Had a pleasant experience at the Lovely Jubbly. Stayed there two nights with my partner last week. Its located close to the entertainment area as well as the Royal Palace and Riverside. The staff was super friendly and always very helpful. The beds were surprisingly comfy and considerably larger than any hostel I've stayed in before. Would recommend this place to a friend.

Room Tip: I enjoyed staying in the 6 bedroom mixed dorm for $6 dollars a night, probably could have got that p...

I stayed here for 3 nights in March this year. The rooms aren't cramped, are very clean, bed linen provided (and clean), good hot powerful shower, comfy beds, plenty of plug sockets, lockers in dorms for bags. Communal area, although small, has everything; bar, food (local and comfort) tables, pool table (free) PC with Internet, wifi throughout (and in rooms). I was also able to book buses and boats from the hostel. A great chilled yet buzzy atmosphere. The thing that swung it from a very good to an amazing hostel was the staff - so friendly, helpful and great company, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Great hostel with bar and restaurant. The staff are really attentive and help you book trips and tours. The street it's on is safe, after hearing horror stories of backpackers being mugged outside other hostels, it was nice to feel safe.

Pros:

1. Great location - Near to attractions like the Central Market, National Museum, Royal Palace. Also good if you're travelling by tour buses as this hostel is within their free pick-up zone.
2. Cheap - Affordable & reasonably priced for most backpackers.
3. Free usage of pool table & Wifi.
4. Friendly & helpful staff during check-in.

Cons:

1. Room
- Very poorly lit. Half the lights were not working.
- No windows. In addition to the dim lights, made the room feel like a prison cell.
- Only one electricity outlet usable. Another two outlets were positioned so high up the wall, we couldn't plug our phone chargers in them despite standing on the beds to reach up. We guessed that it may have been because our room was converted from a dorm with bunk beds to a private one with regular beds.
- We booked a double room, but got two single queen-sized beds positioned side by side to form one HUGE bed instead. Probably good to have more sleeping space, but the gap in the middle of the two beds was distracting.
- No hangers or hooks. We had to drape our clothes over the beds, and a wooden rod in the toilet was only enough to hang one wet towel.
- Toilet drainage choked. Water drains away very slowly and pools up, causing dirt and stuff to float around our feet as we showered.
- Questionable **room service**. We didn't expect any room service or housekeeping, so we were shocked to return to our room and find that everything was shut off (we left some on before going out), our beds were unmade but the rubbish bins were cleared, and some of our items have been touched/moved. Then there was also this stranger who knocked super loudly on our door while rapidly turning our door knob from outside, and when we opened the door for him, he just kept glancing around our room and walked off without explaining who he was or what he wanted. Was that supposed to be a staff (If so, he's very rude) or some surprise routine check to see if we use too much electricity or something??

2. Extremely horrible and sloppy attitude from the receptionist during check-out. We were rushing out to catch a morning bus pick-up to take us to ho chi minh city. When we handed the keys over, he asked us where were the towels? We said that they were in the room, and he told us something along the lines of "go get it". We then told him we were in a hurry, and honestly we were surprised because nobody informed us that we had to bring the towels along during check-out. He simply ignored what we said and repeated plainly that we have to go back up again to bring our towels down. Alright, so we did. After that, we wanted to make a phone call to the bus company to check if we have missed the pick-up, as it did not arrive after half an hour of waiting. We asked him if he could help us since we couldn't speak Cambodian, and he just lazily passed us a telephone and asked us to dial the company on our own. All these while, his behaviour was obnoxious and not polite or helpful AT ALL, even though we talked to him really nicely and tried to explain our problem. (To be fair, all other staffs were cheery and receptive, except this one.)

Overall, this place is a good option if you're on a budget and just simply need a bed and roof over your head. Service and experience wise, do not expect too much or you may be badly disappointed.

Really new, really clean, and excellent value if you get in the $2 dorm! The staff are really nice, and can set you up with a cheap tour around phnom pehn if you need. The 12 bed dorm has lockers and AC, with clean sheets and outlets. Good wifi too :)
