If you only heared about Soviet Union, Soviet times etc, go and have a walk arround the Panfilov Park and feel a litlle bit of air and taste of that epoque.
It's an interesting park with old style attractions, not too big, but enough to spend some time with your family and children.
There are all kind of attractions for all the ages and you can make some photos with popular cartoon heroes as well as with Kyrghiz girl and boy moulages, horses etc.

Come enjoy a stroll through this wonderful park. It's usually full of locals on the weekends, enjoying socializing in a breezy setting. Interact with people; everyone is super friendly.

Just a nice little park to stroll around in. Some areas are a little run down but there are people renting toy cars and push-pedal carts and bikes for children. We came across ping-pong tables, some monuments, and families relaxing in the shade.

the only thing I liked there is a small kafe where could take a couple of beers. Anyway if you are in Bishkek its worth passing by.
