We stayed here for two nights. The Ansara's decor delightful. Great breakfast and ideal location on one of the most charming streets in Vientiane. but staff not so friendly, smiling. but impressed by the little touches - free snacks in the room, mosquito repellant as an amenity, etc.

This is an excellent hotel located in the historic and commercial center of the city, which allows you to do everything on foot. Take a walk in the evening on the animated bank of the Mekong. A very nice hotel, rooms have a decent size which are in a new building on the other side of a beautiful garden. The decor is modern and tasteful, they have a small balcony. You can have a delicious breakfast. The restaurant is very chic and classy, but a little expensive, so we had dinner in one of the many good restaurants in Laos. I really recommend this place, it’s a very comfortable location.

The first thing I look for in a hotel is a good night's sleep. You will get that here and much more.
Three things really stand out in my memory. 1.There are reading lights by the bed. 2. The bathroom is very well lit. 3. The AC will get the room really cool and keep it that way. The management understands what travelers want in a hotel.
In addition the room is a nice size, has comfortable bed and pillows, and is quiet at night. There is a large flat screen TV with several English channels. The only drawback is the room does not darken well for daytime sleeping.
There was a huge platter of fruit in the room on arrival. The beverages (soft) in the minibar are complimentary as well as tea and coffee.
The breakfast was adequate with bacon and eggs made to order, along with assorted cold cuts, pastries, and fruit. The coffee was barely warm and not very good although they provide a large pot.
The WiFi is free and fast. A laptop computer is provided in the room or you can use your own device.
The hotel is situated about one block from the river in a quiet location. There are many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
In my experience the hotel was service oriented. The front desk willingly printed our boarding passes at no charge.

This was a lovely getaway with clean rooms and fresh linen. The beds were comfortable and nice. What really made me love this place is the balcony that overlooks the garden. IT was really a great place and it was private, too. The hotel is small but it was spacious and we didn't feel like we were crammed into a room. We were comfortable in our own room. What's really nice about this place is the large breakfast room. I have been to hotels that would squeeze everybody in the breakfast buffet and this hotel was just amazing at avoiding that. We enjoyed our breakfast and on our second day, we even asked for it to be taken to our room. It was heavenly!

When we booked the smaller rooms were not available and we were set on staying here based on reviews so we paid a little more and got the suite affairs room. The room was huge, large lounge area, separate bedroom and lovely large bathroom. After nearly 2 weeks away we took the chance to spread out and enjoy the space. In room internet and laptop appreciated as was the complimentary soft drinks and nespresso machine. Very cool air conditioning.
Breakfast offered eggs cooked to your liking and a selection of fruits, pastries and other goodies.
Staff were friendly but didn't really go out of their way for you.
There's a pool under construction which will make this hotel great - it was pretty hot and this would have been a perfect way to end the day after touring.
Some great restaurants all an easy walk from here.
