I stayed at this guesthouse eight years ago,and had a great stay;however things have changed. The guesthouse is now clean as before, and quiet too. The rub comes over money,no not the price, but the request, that i pay a deposit which exceeded the room price;then in the morning the same clerk, asks me to pay for the night once more.I said,i already did and in fact you owe me! It was only after i persisted, that he somehow remembered[only 6 guest rooms].Next comes the price of beer from the cooler,Beer Lao is always 8000kip,but now he says 24000kip,and i must pay...no signs as to beer charges tobe found.Lastly, same man,has horrific exchange for baht or dollars, below by far any place i stayed in Laos. All i suggest is you be very careful when booking or stay here.I am sorry this occured, because i returned after such a nice stay before,to find a Fagin in charge."You`ve got to pick a pocket or two."
