This is a fun attraction for families with children and teenagers. The paintball section is part of the official shooting range so expect loud bangs from time to time. The area where the paintball shooting takes places is quite big, and full of trees (with tires around them), walls, a large pond and some huts. Two teams of 5-6 people can have a lot of fun, although the two boys I took thoroughly enjoyed it on their own The range can accommodate maximum 20 people at a time. We went during the wet season, when the grass is soaking, but that adds to the adventure.
The gear they provide is all professional and in good working order. Helmets and masks, throat protection, vest and gloves. Be sure to have long pants that are thick (like jeans) and a long-sleeved top. The guns are standard paintball guns with safety switch.
The cost is Kip 120,000 for 1 person, which includes the first bag of bullets (around 50). Extra bags are Kip 60,000 each. No time limit apparently.
Please note that there are no facilities for eating, drinking, sitting or anything else. Bring lots of water. Spectators can watch standing, but only a few at a time.
How to get there? From Tat Luang temple, take road north passing to the right of the temple. After traffic lights, Tat Luang market is on the left. Take first road right (just after crossing a little bridge). Now you are on a road in a very bad condition after all the rains. Follow it for about 2 kms. When getting to a fork (the road is much better here), take the right hand road. After 50m a large building with curved roof on the left. That is it.
