“Amazing coffee !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

I have had one of the best coffee at this small shop. the Cappuccino and latte is awesome. Only drawback is that you just cannot be sure if its open on all days. official working days are Tuesday to Sundays but at times you go for a coffee and suddenly find a board "sorry for inconvenience we are closed". For people who like coffee after work(like me) this is not the place as it closes at 5pm :( . So wait for weekends to enjoy their coffee

“Anyone for coffee?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

The best coffee in Vientiane! This cafe/restaurant is a little out of the way but certainly worth a visit. Bob (young Australian trained Laos man) and his wife have a gem here. There is information on the wall informing how each type of coffee is made and presented as well as a small blackboard menu for food. The portions of food are generous ( creamy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon...yum!) and cakes to die for.....mouth melting macaroons as well as chocolate and cheese cakes and slices.
There will be another cafe opening in August closer to the main road along the river.

The place is famous for its coffee but I'm not really a coffee drinker.
Nice atmosphere and delicious food.

“Latte is 10 out of 10”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Enjoy a fantastic Café Latte served in a Bodum Pavina double walled glass - as good as it gets. This rang in a new age in the culture of coffee. Call 021-454'631 to ensure it's open (they operate locally with closing on certain local holidays). GPS 17.958749 102.625066.

“great meals”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2014

This is a great little spot to have a quiet romantic dinner for two or a celebration with friends. It feels like an escape from the city. The views of the city are spectacular. For the entree I picked the beef carpaccio while my wife ordered the sausages. I ended up enjoying the sausages more than the carpaccio, not because the carpaccio wasn't good but I just fell in love with how good the sausages were. For the mains we both ordered pasta dishes. Although they were fresh and hand made I wasn't really blown away. I had the seafood but it was a bit watery and you have to be careful you don't bite on a shell fragment. The linguine came in a bowl which lacked a bit of presentation. I'm still giving this place 4 stars.
