I looked all over for this hotel but couldn't find it, so I asked a tuktuk driver who informed me that it shut down a while ago… no problem as there is a good variety of rooms in the area ranging from grubby to pristine.

I stayed at this hotel for two times. I found this hotel a calm place to stay in. The rooms and toilets are however, the administration really need to attend to the maintenance of both the rooms and toilets as the hotel building is quite old (but don’t worry it seems safe for accommodation) and different appliances, furniture, accessories etc. need to be changed with modern one! You will have a feeling of living in a “socialist-style” accommodation here  The hotel staff seems to be a bit reserved (I don’t know why) especially the receptionists need to be a bit friendly! The hotel is located in a calm street of the central location. The hotel has increased room rates which does not make it a great value!

I stayed for couple of days in dormitory of this guesthouse. I had no problems, bathroom was clean, my bed was next to window, so there was fresh air. In the lobby you can buy some beer and drinks, staff was friendly. Location of guesthouse is perfect, just few steps from Fa Ngum street and Mekong promenade. If you are looking cheap backpackers place, this could be place for you.

We are so content with our double room 203. Soft, comfy four poster bed, big room, clean
sheets, nice hot shower. There's a refrigerator in the room, too. Wifi Internet works in
the room. Hotel is located near the river and lots of cafés and shops within walking distance.
Bicycles and motorbikes available. Great place. You'll like it.

Room Tip: The more expensive double room is way better than the less expensive one.

By far the worse hotel I stayed in during my 3 weeks in Loas and Thailand. The walls of the rooms are mouldy, the furniture shabby, I couldn't open the window which was blocked with plastic bags. The bedsheets were stained, I asked for clean ones and the maids had to try 4 different sheets before finding one which wasn't soiled. And it's not even cheap. Besides I booked a bus fare with them, they pretended that the price indicated was an old one and ade me pay 30000 extra kips and then when I checked with other agencies I realized it was a lie and the receptionist had just probably pocketed the extra money.I had also asked for a wake up call until I found there were no phones in the rooms...There are lots of better options in the neighborhood. I've heard the Paradise GH in a nearbystreet was great.

This is a typical average hotel. I dont agree with many reviews down here. Staff were not arrogant and although not overly helpful, they were always nice. They even allowed me to bring friends (even females) in the room after a bit persuation. Rooms vary but the big ones facing the street are actually nice.

This is cheap place so dont compare with Luxor when writing reviews. For the price its nothing special, but also not bad at all. The positive things are perfect location and reliable wifi. They have several repeaters so you get good signal in rooms on all floors. Dont review hotel bad just because of internet signal go down every now and then, especially at rainfall etc.. That is a Lao thing, and happens in EVERY place. Nothing the hotel can do anything about.

This place was horrid. I booked online as I arrived to Vientiane late.

Upon arrival, the staff was very unfriendly. They hardly acknowledged me. I went up to my room and immediately notices how mouldy it smelled. The walls were filthy and the bed was rock solid. The shower had spiderwebs and bugs in it.

This utter mess cost $9 a night!!

Luckily I only booked one night. The next day I went one street over and checked into a dorm-style hotel for $5 a night. Much nicer.
