It's located right in the center at the back of a small hotel. It's like an american style disco-soft rock bar. The Filipino band is awesome. You will not regret.

I was there once. There was a philipino band playing that night and they were absolutely spectacular!

Went to Strings for dinner and ended up staying for the live music. The chicken Fajitas were very good and I am from the Southwest US. Service is polite but was not often present.. Bottom line is that the food is above average for the UB but as a night club it is probably the best and safest.for expats. The place is probablly 80% femaie. There is a cover charge and it is worth upgrading to one of the premium / "reserved" tables.

I went once for the food and didn't think it was amazing but at night it is a night club and I had an amazing time. Live music and a pretty safe atmosphere

We arrived at the restaurant at about 7:45, a little nervous because of a current curfew requiring bars and restaurants to close at 9 p.m. The crowd was mostly a mix of young, urban Mongolians and Russians. After getting shuffled around from table to table, we ordered some chicken fajitas then kicked back to listen to 24K, the talented Filipino band, play for about an hour. After about half an hour, I chased down our waiter (one of only two on duty that night) to ask why our food hadn't come yet. He said "Just wait," and about 5 minutes later, brought us menus again. We ordered yet again. Our food arrived about 3 minutes before the restaurant was required to close. Fortunately (?) for us, the restaurant continued to operate outside the bounds of the law. They just closed the curtains and made us exit through the hotel when we left.

That said, the chicken fajitas were great. We just wish we wouldn't have had to rush through them. It should never take an hour to get your meal.
